There pets and belong to a woman but they keep going awol everytime she lets them out.wel that at least i thought it was some clown that was into the game just letting his dogs run around the country

Well lads just said i would give a bit of a up date about what iv done with my fetching prob,i took mickey finns good advice and started the force fetch programe with her.its goin good enough i really think shes getting to know whats really goin on.so going to stick at it its goin to be a long road but we will get there

May god rest my grand mother she was a serious woman in the kitchen and i can rember many and manys the time her cookin pike when i was a child but 1 main thing i do rember about it is it would stink the house with the smell of it.but rolled in flour and fried it was more than eatable.of course ur doin no harm taking an odd fish for the table

hes a lovely dog extreme hunter,ye my bitch i have to say has great nose and lovely thing to range with point comeing on steader every time its just this slip up with the retrieving that i have to pull her back to basic training again.but she really does still have her puppy moments when you just think to urself how will this ever come good ha.there such a lovely gentle animal but and a pure joy to work with

I'll try to put something up a little later or tomorrow but typically this is done around 12 months or so. We usually put a fair amount of pressure on them to get them where they need to be. These are dogs that are bred for pressure and that doesn't mean excessive force. Just an organized approach that garners predicable results.

That's true from what I've read and from what people have advised me they take a long time to grow up but the bit that's getting me is that she can do it and has done it in the past for me but it just seems to be goin the opposite way these days

Well lads I'm back looking a bit of advice about my gwp,as iv said in previous posts about trouble with her retrieving.at the very start I just took it that she was a dog that got to much retrieving as a pup and was sick of it but slowly but surely she came good and started lifting dummies and dummies with wings then I introduced her to a cold duck that she wasn't over keen on but eventually she came around and then we started the real deal,but my problem now is that she won't lift anything unless it's coming out of my hand . today we went for a walk on the river and up got a mallard and I s

Wasn't a bad 1st took a late notion last night that I'd go out for a while before work got 1duck and tonight done a flight on a pond iv being feeding and seen alot of ducks but only ended up with 4 but happy enuf.more happy with my young dog she retrieved them all to hand so all ended well

Dont know if every man would say they were all legends but I think when you can rember them and rember certain digs with them they can't be far of it.my 1st dog Murphy a leggy lakey took no mercy but il never forget him then you had turk,Ben,scamp a mate had a deadly wee black bitch called beauty.ha ha good memories of good times
