my 4 year old daughter handles mine exsept my nasty albino one 6the kits 24 week old now one of the bitches keeps nipping but doesnt break the skin and the wee one just doesnt bother anyway she's that used to ferrets n pup's i wouldnt worry just lend a hand if needed take them out with them and if your happy with how they work them then you know you can let them go out my cuz is 12 now he has went out himself since he was 8 and my other cuz whose 6 goes out with him and his little brother now god knows how they get rabbits its like ufc all they do is fight but for some reason they always come

i wouldnt say at 6,5 months it is bright having her on the lamp she's still a pup but to what your saying my whippet i used to have would pick up anything birds or whatever and eat them but once she was 9/10 months and had her first kill she just pinned it and returned it into me . alot of people like with ferrets dont feed there dogs before they take them out but i feed mine in the morning so dont change my routine , with a pup at 6.5 months if its realy hungry i can see why it would eat the rabbit . apart from that only thing i can see that can be done is correct the pup every time she start

i always gut my rabbits strait away aswell mate was just unsure been out shooting and got some feather for them an couldnt be assd gutting them so was just asking cheers

its made clear in the post that he isnt intrested in money for the dog .... and a proper working home isnt going to be with someone that is intrested in the way the dog looks aslong as it doe's what its meant to ..... correct me if im wrong !

would fitting a ram be alot more work than just getting a new spring put in ? where would i get it done and would it cost alot more ? what would the benafits be as i dont know anything about them ?

are these decent powerd as new ? as im very un impressed with the gun ive shot 2 pigeons whitch i def hit and it didnt drop them so im wondering if its the gun thats the prob as ive been at the rabbits and thought it was my aim that was the problem but i hit targets no probs so think its just the lack of power in the gun or could it be down to pellets ?

cheers for the advice mate im not expecting her to chase a healthy big rabbit and catch it its mostly haflings up the feild i walk her jujst expected her to be a bit more intrested than she was the other night but itl be another 5/6 months before i try her on the lamp or that . thanks for the advice

took a few piks of her while was out last night with the gun she seems keen and she runs into feilds chasing pigeons but seems to not even notice rabbits one lifted infront of her but she didnt even notice she's just over 6 months now i know shes still young and dont get me wrong i not expecting her to catch anything yet but would have thought she would have seen it any advice or should i just keep taking her up the feilds and let her decide when she's ready for them ? both her parents worked day and night and with ferrets , itll be my first outing this year tomorow with the ferrets taking my

sounds normal to me mate my albino jill went like this was worried to start with she looked bad started with her eye's then most of her head the she lost it all to a shorter coat she now looks as good as ever my big hob is half way threw his shot now . i didnt notice so much with my polecat jill though but i think it might just be since she's darker it wznt as noticeable so i wouldnt worry to much .
