iv had dogs on red mills racer mate i also use dr john silver for the springer and bulldog red mills make the doctor john to compete with lower price feeds as far as i have been told bye my horse feed/dog feed supplier. i give mine an egg every day and they get a pound of mince one day and nearly a pound of white fish the next mixt with soaked biscuits and a brown roll or two helps get the weight on see a baker and ask for there old wholemeal and brown rolls or out of date ones etc and freeze them and use them in the feed . i feed both my meet and fish cooked but thats due to me getting the me

do you mean own your own dogs or as in a trainer of your own and other's ? we have an old concrete barn sort thing 15 kennels 1 single kennel in a separate room for quarintine/bitches in season and 2 outdoor paddocks of about 1/4 an acre each we also have scales for weghing and a tred mill also porta mag boxe's and my grandad has a machine for injurys but i dunno how to use it you will also need a selection of medicalines creams ointments etc cause if you have a number of dogs its inevatable you will have injurys. if your having one dog or two then 2 kennels 3 and a half foot bye 6 a raised be

thanks alot bullterrier i had been told the tenth day but with her still bleeding i was a bit confused but ill try the dog to her tmz thats day 13 then againe the 15th if she stands ill stry againe the 17th if not ill not worry hope the dog does the bizz he hasnt lined a bitch before are they usualy quite able or do you need to give a helping hand of any sort she is trying to stand for my springer bitch and wont leave her alond so hopefully the dog will do what he is meant to.

well i was a fan of getting a bullx mainly because i have experience with bulls but after thinking about it im not a big fan of the foxe's because you cant eat them and all i realy do is think about my belly haha so the collie cross would be more brainy easyer to train and alot less noisy above a warren than a bullx bouncing about . i am also into the saluki but more for the thought of pre ban outings oh how it would have been great 50 years ago lol but my day of a saluki will come the best idea is to go with the collie its a dog i know and its a dog i have permision to bring home and get the

well just of the phone to the farmer and im getting jack down his older border dog who is a dab hand on the farm he is coming on 6 and iv known the dog for a while i had a good think and it was between him and a bull terrier but i decided against the bull due to some talks with my mates and that the collie would probably take more quary and be more use for our land. he is coming to my kennel tonight and will be here aslong as i need him so ill post picks of him tmz and hopefully a pick of them tied over the next few days and hopefully ill have a litter in the near future there are 5 pups spoke

he is a cracking looking dog . iv been reading abit into the collie crossesand im thinking of sticking a pure border over my greyhound as the farm i was shooting the other night has a beuty of a dog who is very obedient and a very good worker so should throw decent animals plus im strugling to find a decent saluki or wheaton. been oferd a 25" rednose bull to cover her very racy type bull dark red but after speaking with the other boys who the pups are going to the collie cross would be of more use .

sounds like you will be fine with him paul im like your self alot of people keep a dog on a leash but if you are in the right place there is nothing better than giving the dog a bit space to run and once they know you and know when they have had there run to come back then they are a gem i used to have a black bitch who done not bad on the track she used to walk to heal of the leash and wouldnt go to other dogs or that if she did chase a rabit and catch it she would stand with it till i went to her or later she started bringing them back she even had a fox one night she was a delight to own an

good shooting lads . i think there is quite alot about this year the one, out of 9 on sat 5 were full of young and one was full of milk plus there are loads of tiny ones about aswell good news for me as i love rabbit so hope the freezer is full soon lol. spot on tip there davy ill start that my self i usualy just head out and wait till i find something before i get the gun out but ill make sure i have a practise first as i ofetr dont get the first shot .

hi guys my bitch is now on day 12 of her break and she isnt very swollen and is still got a bit blood running is this typical of greyhounds and when is best to line her as the only litter iv had was cane corso and the bitch swelt like a balloon and tied from day 10 then on the 12th and 14th days .

could have been in them then. there are so many reasons people get rid of them its unreal iv seen boys get rid of pups just because they brought to many over or they will get a deal with half a dozen dogs just to get sertain ones then re home the rest without even schooling them . the majority of whitch aint even been on a leash now they need some work i can tell you trust building takes a long time with alot of them.

we have a hanging skale in the kennels and a modified walking out jacket to hold them. she is pritty fit the now as iv stuck her on the mill the past few weeks with her being in heat rather than have her out and some mut catch her lol.

no probs mate the problem with most is people give the dogs a few runs and they are eather what they want or they move them on some dogs are amazing and seem fast as but when they get on a track wont do the bizz or you can get a dog that fights or is a bad boxer or some just aint keen along side other dogs there could be a million explanations . the main prob with racing is that its very very easy to get an injury hit a hair rail or what not.

this is the bitch i got from neil who lives next door now due to personal circumstances i was away for 2 months and the girl couldnt cope with my greyhounds the kids and the dogs at home so gave her to my mate who lives next door im out with the dog every day and have full use of her and may have her back in the near future the boys not happy giving her back but i didnt want her out in the first place i only put this post on as i said i would keep people updated on her progress and i will !!

i agree with what smashy just said they are nearly all a wonder to own and kennel usualy clean and quiet although you get the odd howler or pee the bed but you get them in all species lol. both nice dogs smashy the blue bitch is the double of a wee blue bitch we owned about 8 years ago she won a track championship and her fair share of races got some trophies from her ill dig out.

cheers smashy she has taken a bit work after her injury but i dont regret taking her home with me which i vowed id never do lol. she is looking a picture the now and is 53 pound the piks dont do her justice ill try and get better ones but im spoting a sony ericson phone as camera lol.

she was from a bigger working whippet she is handy on the tree rats and will do the rabbits no problem she is like a mini whippet she looks alot more whippety in real life than in the pick but she never stays still. ill put picks up once she is fit and gets her first rabbits she is nearly there and is chasing

na she was in breckie then wanting to go to the market she never halts she is still runing about the now she's just started school so this week then she will be there all day cant wait lol she gets up and walks the dogs with me before school everyday but i think that will stop when she starts going all day lol a dunno how she does it im half asleep only bit she aint keen on is gutting lol she stands at 5 yards un amused lol

heres a pick of mink the only one i have at home the rest are in our kennels as we race them this is a bitch i have home due to bad injury and for starting a line with she will be here for the rest of her days you never know she's there well except when she is out with the springer she bounds about like a deer you would never know there was anything worng with her half the time !!
