like I said the Bluetooth kills the battery far too quick for my liking, i'll never use it in the field yes i totally agree, at the end of the day its a nice add on but not going to change the quality of your videos!

the bluetooth is good but not really needed, but you can get an app for your phone which allows you to link your phone and gopro- this is the best use ive found of the bluetooth, you can watch what the gopro is filming on your phone live, pull the photos and videos straight onto your phone off of the camera and stuff, really useful and time saving once you get the hang of it! In terms of getting a 3 or 4 they are both good, obviously the 4 is just more advanced hence the increased price- but just have a look at the video quality of each and decide how much extra you're willing to pay for t

rumour has it they let some go that had mixy to wipe out the wild ones, but who knows, could be line breeding or anything, dug to a litter of young once and it contained an albino young un, gave it to my mother who reared it to adult age, ive also seen another albino rabbit in the same area, where the black one came from I got the heads up that there is black uns around before we even got there so must be common hmmm interesting! thanks bullet! ah thats cool, we used to have a couple of albino rabbits as pets as children but they were just the normal ones you get from a shop not wild one

ah gotcha! yes i can fully understand that, i am a big fan of air gunning for rats (or anything else) myself but im sure if i am fortunate enough to have a hawk, as i plan to in the future, its something i would do too! sorry for the questions and i look forward to hearing your progress through the season!

okay thats interesting thanks! from what I can gather squirrel hunting is much more common in the US than the UK with hawks?! do you mean for her to catch the rats? or just the case that she sees them and gets them?

what is it that causes the black rabbits? when i first saw a picture a while i just assumed it was an escaped pet that had turned wild again! but is it just a gene that gets thrown up every now and again?

Hi, does your hawk wear any protection on their feet and legs? I know squirrels can have a pretty nasty bite- my dad used to fly a HH and she caught a squirrel in her first year which bit her and her leg became infected and put her out for quite a lot of the season! is getting bitten a big risk or just something that younger less experienced birds seem to suffer?

ive got and read the complete rabbit and hare, thought it was great! Ive managed to read a few others too since and hopefully am covering most of the basics! I've hopefully got some practical experience sorted in the next few weeks looking at a couple of different species so hopefully this is the start of something for me

I've never heard of it but I don't see why it wouldn't be a possibility?! Only the other week my dad saw a Harris hawk in the woods opposite my house, no falconer in sight and jessies attached, he went out with his glove on and some food in hand but the bird wasn't interested, so I suppose if escapes are common in one area you could have a few birds living in a close area and with them being such social birds anything could happen!

I've emailed them, thank you Ive emailed a couple of similar local centers, not going to get my hopes up in regards to them- they are businesses after all! but if they are passionate about falconry as you'd expect they will probably have their own birds at home and so surely need to fly them too!

awesome i will look into that too thanks, and yes exactly, especially when they charge so much at these centres. I think its nice for a day trip for the family or something, but wouldnt be all that useful for gaining practical experience before getting a bird

I live just round the corner from eagle heights but literally only thought of it yesterday! I'll drop them and email and see but im not sure whether they would want either someone working for them or whether they'd say to go on their paid days out, which obviously im trying to avoid- think they are more a birthday present than something to use regularly to gain experience?! but hopefully someone there flys locally and would take me out! Oh nice, whats Chris' user name or contact details please? would be good to find that out?
