Had the same problem a couple of month's back.. Being fresh back into the airgun scene and getting my first pcp (after shooting springers year's previously ) I thought they were totally recoiless.. Messing about with various homemade bench rests to get better stability i found if the barrel or silencer touched anything solid my groups went horrible to say the least!! Probably common knowledge to you lads but like i say i'm new back to the airgun scene and thought pcp's were totally recoiless. Goodluck muttley94.. hope you get it sorted Atb Thanks guys, This could well

Thanks for all the ideas and advice guys! as always I knew I could rely on you all Will look into some of the things that have been said and hopefully they fix it! I got it out of the safe today and the zero seems to have held so fingers crossed it stays this way!

yes I believe it was pretty similar! Ah that could be something! I do try to pump slowly but sometimes get a bit impatient I will see if I can do it just using the cylinder next time and see if that affects it! cheers
-
at the moment a pump, although my dad has access to cylinders at work which I can use if I let him know far enough in advance!

This is just a thought mind Muttly but is your safe any where near a rad in you home or is the room you have it in warm just asking as the heat of the room may affect the rifle as we all no weather affect's the rifles and it may be just that its the change in temperature thats affecting the zero atvbmac  Nope the safe is under the stairs and theres no radiator there, its surrounded by rooms as well not on an outside wall or anything so its just a pretty normal temperature in there! not moving or changing anything, I think both times its happened ive p

I haven't got a chronograph but will look about getting one and give that a go if this continues! Yes I do always check it Mac, just Im not used to having to do a complete rezero, especially when its been locked in a safe where in theory it shouldnt be touched, knocked or moved about at all so shouldnt change? Ive got a NikkoStirling panamax 3-9X40 and yes the zero holds while in use, Ive checked it at the start and end of the day plus the rabbits check it throughout the day Barrel and silencer are both tight

hi guys, Basically had the same issue twice now, first time I didnt think too much of it but twice in a row is just weird! Basically I got my rifle out about a month ago, it having been in the safe for two weeks, and it was spot on at 30yards when I put it away. Well when I got to my rabbit perm I gave it a test and it was shooting about 3inch over the target! now I just assumed it was down to a knock in the car- However, I had the gun on my lap the whole way and its literally a 2 or 3 minute drive, so I had my doubts but as I said just didnt think too much of it! So, re-zeroed it

we have lots of peregrines around me but as far as I know I have never seen a goshawk before, funnily when the first pair of peregrines started breeding in the Avon gorge they built an observation point on the opposite side of the gorge for the twitchers, there used to be around 50 or more people up there watching them now you can walk into the middle of Bristol and there are a pair on the old courage,s building on full show everyday of the week, avonmouth docks near me have around five breeding pairs, it's a good era for raptorswhere abouts is the old courage brewery? I've had a look online b

Maybe next year or the year after for me, the wait is killing me but thats when I will hopefully be in a situation when I have the time to fully commit to a BoP! until then all I can do is read my books and live through guys on here and youtube

Im by no means an expert but I find the obvious things are always worth considering- dont be a big silhouette on the skyline or in the middle of the field, cover up naked skin, and break up large areas- ie camouflage clothes? If you struggle during the day with rabbits have you considered lamping? I also do a lot of pigeon shooting from concealed positions and wait for them to come to me, if you dont mind a bit of waiting then just plonk down under a favourable oak out of sight but with a clear line of sight (if you are able to then build a nice little hide!) I have a field that is lined

Whose Ever Dropped A Bird In Flight?
muttley94 replied to Zimpara's topic in General Airgun Discussion
had a go at a feral once, there was a large flock flying over an open field and me and a mate both took a pop shot into the flock, to our delight one fell into the field, however we soon realised it hadn't fallen and all the birds were just landing! -
yes I think they are wonderful but can imagine they are pretty tricky and you have to know what you are doing! sorry to hear about such a tragic end to what sounds like a cracking bird!

hey lutra lutra, I know someone who's flown sparrow hawks, I can't remember if he said it was only females or if he flew both- he's definitely flown a couple of Sparrow hawks though! I can ask next time I see him and ask any questions on your behalf? I wish I could say I had flown them myself- hopefully one day! Muttley
