Thanks i will try that and if no joy it will have to be a new box :/ Yes afraid so ,, only precedure to sort this out ,, how old is the box ??

Switch it off at mains no lights on box press and hold in the back up button keep back up button pressed in and switch power on 1 red light will come on box straight away hold button in till 3 or 4 lights come on box and message comes on tv downloading software this will take upto 10 minutes after message disappears and lights go out leace box for a few minutes then try get it on then (green light ) if green light doesnt come on your box if buggered need to replace box or if warrenty a service call

Skype is cheap and easy to use, My Daughter was working in Africa cost a fortune to speak to her , But not with Skype used to call a landline and talk for hours, It's a little like pay as you go put so much into it and you can see as your on the call how much you are using, You can also talk to people if they are on the comp for free as well, and yes it is a bit like MSN you can chat on it to,
