    Yes, his dogs can work all day. When the day is very hot, hi hunt till the wind is good and strong for quail hunting. After hi going to swamp and hunt duck. Exactly hi is a big fan of GWP, hi spends a lot of time in the field. Since March, he drives the swamp for training their dogs on jacksnipe, great snipe. In Summer switch to partridge and quail. In August, when the hunting season starts his the dogs in good shape and bring the flair of the hunt.

    My friend like to hunt with this dogs, he has 3 dogs in his kennel Hi hunt with GWP for: snipe, quail, partridge, pheasant, duck .... All dogs in his kennel like to retrieve and no problem with hard mouth.

    We can hunt snipe from second Saturday of Augusts till last weekend of December.

    Thank you. Now understand. When in Uk you can hunt a snipe? In Ukraine when we can shoot a pheasant in October, snipe as usual flies south.

    What about snipe hunting in UK with Pointers? Is that hunting common or not? In Ukraine we are find this bird is very attractive and hard to hit when we hunt with our bird dogs. This trophies from my hunting in Sep 2014.
