Long Range Aim Points For Crows
Adrian Kenny replied to Stoater's topic in General Airgun Discussion
It always baffles me how well a crow can see!!! Tiny little eyes.. Crafty sods! I have to say picking off crows at my grandmothers farm with an old .22lr with my uncle is a great memory, used to cause havoc on the wrapped bales.. Good times!! And blasting them off the back of the tractor lol -

Am Definetly not confident enough to hunt yet, but I would never rule it out with a bit of practice after today!! Although I might swap rabbit for rat and be a bit closer lol -

I am going to keep practising.. good feeling plinking without glass to be fair! Spanking a can at 30 yards is nice (took me two shots as I am getting used to the site adjustments) but I hit it lol -

Hello all, bit of a question.. What are your average ranges? I know mine and the limitations of my rifle and ability.. But I keep hearing stories of 70 yard shots with a sub 12... Sooooo perfect conditions, perfect pellet, shooting well that day.. What is the MAX you would go for? (Non FAC) My range never really strays more than 45yrds ish as I have never needed to be much further away but I assume different permissions may offer different shots, but consitantly hitting 70's would be a bit out of my comfort zone, I have had a hit at a bit over 60 but I know if the wind took it I woul

I was thinking about this earlier today, I have grown up with scopes being around and reasonably priced! My hats off to you guys, I was getting a 3" grouping at 25 yards lol! Gonna practice a bit, would never hunt but it's very satisfying hitting a spinner with no scope lol -

Thanks gents! I will reblue It but to be honest I am having so much fun shooting it I don't wanna take it out of action haha! I have a few pics of it finished apart from the blurring will stick up later.. One question though I have removed the front site and its left a hole right through to the barrel.. It's not effecting accuracy which I thoought it would.. Any suggestions on filling it? And does anyone know was the writing originally gold? As I saw a cool kit on flea bay -
I asked before matey, how did you make the stock? Just interested? I do like my rat catcher! Power adjuster? Hammer spring? Valve mods? Just curious.. Really nice buddy! Been up for a while if you still have in a couple of weeks would snap it up.. No postage is a prob for me though!

Adrian Kenny replied to Adrian Kenny's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I started off with grit and worked up to 240 took forever but lovely and smooth no marks and the grain looks great.. anyone any idea on this wood? I am a bit of a novice when it comes to all this But before I stripped the stock I wacked back in the action and took a few test shots well happy with that at 29 yards!!! the 10p are JSB's and the 20p is HTT power, have asked a few people about these and in all honesty I was just using up the tin but a group like that, for me, I am buying more!! And now am just waiting on her final coat to dry and then it will be out after a few bunnies to -
