I'd say it has it's own weather systemYeah, dull and cloudy

True true.

Agree with that, the dog does'nt work with it's mouth shut does it, so what difference a few mill makes to losing teeth and damage in general is beyond me.

Don't sneak up on him then, if someone creeps up behind you and grabs your shoulders you jump a mile as well.

I had a dog in about 1980 that was vampire x pagan, he was used as a digging terrier and was a first rate dog,had a few before him and a good few after him and if I had a chance of any of them back then I would pick him. And mole265 he was not the least bit snipey and from what I remember neither was vampire. -
Is that the cricket club or the county council?

I always leave my terrier off the lead when trying a place.often seen it pass a well used entrance and squeeze up a tight dead entrance and up to the quarry. As said it would be ideal if all terriers travelled empty earths to check them fully but imo some terriers just won't. Hopefully when I'm out and about I don't leave much game behind me but ud never know ☺ keedy sounds like a very useful terrier to have.bet she has proved a good few other terriers wrong!!id rather them not run through earths as this leaves a strong scent detering quarry from occupying it. If the dog doesnt mark it on th

Best Earth Dog You've Had An What Way Bred."
mango replied to Chunk2011's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
All that line breeding and your best terrier was an outcross? Not an outcross mate ,part of another line started 15 years ago but admittedly not all mine .If its a dig no doubt you will entertain us with an account of one of yours or are you just a stirring type . This particular bitch was one of the first offspring i had from the mating and kept .She had an untimely end through trapping a nerve in her back when jumping off the back of my truck before i could restrain her .She never stood for a dog preffering to fight them instead .She was a one off but there you go ,make of it what you wi -

Does Anyone Know If This Breeding Really Happened?
mango replied to Ruby Lakey's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I had a cup of tea with jp last night and remembered you had asked about him using a df dog on his stuff,he did once only and that was a dog called hagler which was ns breeding, roxy x jake?and the bitch was angel, eve x bradley. He did say that it was not a very succesful mating in fact the offspring were not very good at all,df had a pup which came back to jp as an adult and ended up being pts the one's jp kept suffered the same fate, two pups went up north to the manchester area?, not sure of the colour of the pups that went north and it was a while ago but they were the only df mating that -
I would agree with most of that but you need to explain to me how the locator has improved the working terrier?is it your opinion that maybe bigger earths are being worked because of the security offered by the locator and consequently the dog is being tested a bit more. In my opinion there is nothing new in the terrier game regarding the working ability of the dogs.

Hello All, i need some advice on my air rifle which i have just managed to get back from a long term loan, about 5yrs. When i got the rifle home it was cocked with no pellet in it and when i pulled the trigger to uncock it it sounded weak cocked it again and fired and its like a powderpuff. My question is, if this rifle has been left cocked for a long time is it knackered and can i rebuild it?i know it is the one with the theoben system in it not the conventional spring type. any help would be appreciated,i am not an airgunner as you probably have guessed. ps. have not tried the rifle with
