    how could you possibly know if a dog is a worker or non worker in the show ring. no judge could know this unless they knew the dogs/owners personally . and well enough to go out with them and there dogs. this of course would mean judging the wrong end of the leash. if you cant tell a dog that as grafted weather it is still grafting or not you should not be in the dog game and before anyone asks dont ask me to explain as this might offend i have had terriers over 35 years and many a lad on will have had the same and what a stupid statement that was mate a good terrier man can tell ta

    I use this forum on an iPad and it will keep me signed in for two or three visits then reverts to me being a guest,so unless I want to post or look at some photos I carry on looking as a guest.

    I seen a stud dog used from Blackburn that was half yorkie/lakeland, seen the resulting litter,only 1 person he had to please back then and it was himself,there seems to be too much hero worshipping going on these days around DBP from the resulting clubs after his demise,for f*cks sake there even lads calling anything related to him Plummer lurchers, DBP took the truth to the grave,he always maintained his best all round terrier was Pagan and we all know how she was bred,WM I know her sire was jaeger but can't remember what bitch she was out of.

    Exactly, two icons of the black terrier world Ken Gould and Brian nuttall biggest dog dealers ever,did the fact that these two sold more dogs than you could shake a stick at have a detrimental effect on the working black terrier, i doubt it very much.

    A mate of mine kept a couple back in the early eighties, he had a dog off a chap from the Bristol area, Severn tunnel junction if I remember dog was iron hard.

All you gain from taking pictures and putting on the web is attention. Attention seekers and their egos are no good for the sport.I hear what your saying but to compare boxing where both boxers consent to being in the ring to field sports I'm not sure,as for the bloody nose you could always give it a wipe,mind you they pull rugby players off now with blood injuries
