Today I went out with the ferret for the last time this season, all was going well with no young uns.untill I hear a screaming coming from one hole so I got my locator out and searched but the ferret wasn't held up it was moving round so gave it a few mins. Then the ferret came out with a baby rabbit about 4 weeks old in its jaws.i was shocked I had heard many story's about ferrets bringing kills out but never believed them. has anyone else ever had this.

wanted a marker,to have it hold them in the net and to nail the odd runners save me putting the long nets around as well as purse nets.

Hi lads I am after some advice.i do fair bit of ferreting and I am after a dog to assist me. I have been offer a whippet of 7 months old it's never seen a rabbit or owt.are whippets any good for what I want or do I need to go for whippet cross or something else. my pal has a Patterdale and he is forever dig him out after the rabbits.
