Cheers for the answers folks I haven't put a pellet through my revere yet but dry shooting it with the 0db silencer it's not as quiet as my hw100 with an old silencer I bought a few years ago so I'm looking for some advice about silencers I bought the revere from the airgun center because I get free lifetime parts and labour it was a bit more money but I thought anything goes wrong I get lifetime parts and labour I've just got the RFD payments back and forwards because there's some bad vibs with daystate and their returns so any answers folks I can't get it fettled because seemingly it voids -

They have a few pcps that you can hold and get a feel for the one ye like bud that's what I did as most will tell you to even try a few at a range the ultra se 177 gives you approximately 40 full power shots bud my hw100 t 177 gives me aproximately 110 full power shots and as the guys on here will say depends on what you want em for me I'm addicted to shooting at quarter inch circles to see how many I get a three or a five shot group through the same hole at 30mtres sadly not to many. Yes collieman I bought my hw 100 t177 from them it actually had to go back to hull cartrige their after sales is the best I've dealed with the guy at hull cartridge looked at it on the Friday I got it back on the Saturday I was realy impressed with that kind of after sales service. I do have an ultra se in 177 so can't comment on the airarms. I'm disabled with mobility problems the ultra se is a very light well made accurate riffle their price doesn't do them justice as their a pretty accurate riffle for their price the guys on here are realy good and very helpful so im sure some one will be a -

Ye yer right there the ultra feels like a toy compared to the hw I've got mobility probs so most of my shootings off a bipod and sandbag but theres still a place for the ultra.ye the place I shoot the targets at the wind swirls one minute you can click a few clicks right then the next it goes to the left thats the nightmare but hae summers on its way and so's my pidgeon decoys. That's good shooting bud if it's not too windy today all have to give them pellets a go at 50mtrs I also have the ultra se 177 out of the box I think the hw pips it but I have heard getting them reged does make a diferance.all have to take a few pics then suss out how to put them on here. Well shooting in a breeze does make a big difference to the groupings 4.52 seems to be the pellet her choice at thirty metres has any one done the 2oo metre target shoot yet here's me asking that an I ain't done the 50meter one yet. seems to be a lota clips with people doing it though. I haven't tryed them at 50mtres yet.i bought weirhachs own pellets as well and they seem to shoot alright too I've been drawing quarter inch circles on a sheet of paper I did notice I hadn't sighted the hw in for the air arms pellets I was shooting at 25mtrs and was aiming at the first circle and it put 3pellets through the next circle in the same hole. So a few clicks left and I was happy at 25mtrs would I be correct in thinking that the more expensive pcps are even more accurate as in the old day states.whats some of you guys opinions on the daystates are they even more accurate than the hw -

Well folks I'm realy happy with the hw 100t 177 it's shooting quarter inch circles at 30mtres I put three shots in to every circle one circle had only one pellet sized hole I was realy chuffed with that one comparing the ultra and the hw I think the hw is more accurate . Mind you that's shooting off of a table with a bipod and a sand bag.the pellets so far seem to be air arms Diablo exacts 4.52. How are you getting on with your one John. For you guys wondering about getting a hw100 I'm glad I went for one.the shot count is 110 out of a 200 bar fill is that what you guys get out of your ones -

Well folks I've bought the hw t 177 and the airmax 30 8-32 50 I went to my permition for a half hour or so to try her out,I can't mount the scope yet as all the mounts I have are 25ml so I've ordered a pair of mounts so hopefully they should arrive soon.just as you guys have said it's definitely a well made rifle I also mounted a 9x13 bipod I'm realy looking forward to testing her to see what pellets suits her ( notice she s a her already ) the shop said airarms pellets work well in them so I bought 3 tins of them in 4-5 4-51 and 4-52 or so I thought ide took two tins of 4-51 s will the barrel -

I like a man that experiments. I use mainly JSB Exacts now, I read they make AA pellets for AA. The Ultra likes JSB best at 8.4gn. I practice at that range because its the distance the range ended up at from where I sit under cover. If you can try some FT targets at 5 yard increments, that will show you any rifles best range and with what pellet / pressure. Yes I get about forty from an Ultra too. The HW is giving sixty. Yes, you will get a few extra fills, its neither here nor there though as you just top up an Ultra more often. Twelve litres gives about sixty refills for me down to 200 bars, -

I've noticed I've called the new hawke scope an airsporter it's an airmax I ment to say and the pellets I was using last were jsb exacts not jabs.any way the cars goosed.so all the piggy banks will have to buy another to replace it.but Al still go for an airmax first then an hw100. It will just take a we bit longer.anyways happy shooting guys. -

A well bad news with the car folks too expensive to get fixed looks like all be looking for another this time I think Al go for a we Jimny 4x4 so gun stuffs on back boiler till I get mobile again. Never mind I've seen a clever idea for a night scope and I've ordered the components and one of my mates is a wiz with the old soldering iron.have any of you guys seen it on vermin hunters tv I think that's where I seen it.the finished article looks like a shop version. -

Hi john that's good to hear 60fills I can live with that.all I need now is the car fixed and the pellet samples to arrive. My daughter ordered them for me over a week ago, still no sign.i musta tryed 25to30types of pellets already.as I said some grouped good at 30 Mrts but at 50 Mrts no use.( here's a bit of the Scotsman in me all the pellets samples I've left half so as to try em in the hw ) I intend to write down all the mill dots ille need to use at 5mtr intervals and just keep practicing so I get the ranges set in my head. And make one of them range cards so when I do have to kill something -

Hi john if a feeling I'm going to like the hw100s in 177 but the ultra s a keeper as well. Both have uses, it was jab exacts 4-52 that were realy grouping well today but at 30mtrs I had a few giving realy Good groups but as soon as I tryed at 50mtrs the target was well peppered.airarms fields 4-51 4-52 rws super domes Al let me down at 50mtrs.when I get my car back from the garage all try the jsbs at 50mtrs.none of the bisley pellets group great in my ultra nor any of the h&n pellets I'm waiting on a sample pack of about 20 different kinds of pellets so here's hoping one or two of them gr -

Well guys I was out for an hour the day shooting off the bonnet of my car, best group I got was 5 pellets through a hole and a half at 30mtres. That put a smile on my face till I started the car I snaped my clutch cable never mind I got home eventually.and I'm still smiling, becouse I can't wait till I get my new scope might be a bit longer if the garage hits me with a big clutch bill.but all get their in the end and hopefully all have my hw100 s177 end of March So happy days -

Cheers buds and what about the hawke airmax scopes I'm leaning towards one of them the shop didnt have a 8-32x50 in store but all the other sizes were realy clear, so if the 8-32 is as clear I'm going to go for that I have two hawke scopes already. And they're not all that clear their a bit milky.but looking through the airmaxes I got a unexpected surprize.so I thought all go for the biggest one if its as clear as the rest at least that way I can up the mag when needs be.whats your thoughts guys. Thanks in advance -

Cheers guys most of my mates said get an ultra becouse of my mobility issues. But after buying the ultra which I think is a great we gun, I don't think the weight of the hw100 is going to come in to it as I said 99.9.9 of my shooting is going to be from a bench sitting down with a bipod and a sand bag under the but, o and before I forget when I first joined hlf a few guys spoke to me but it wouldnt let me answer for some reason I wasn't ignoring them. I just didn't know how to answer.any ways the hw100 full length 177 seems to be favouring me the more info I get from you guys from which I'm ve -

Thanks John I joined the hlf a while ago when I got my bsa ultra se 177 was going to get that regged that's put on the back burner just now as rather have the hw100 to compare with.ive tried commenting on posts a while back but this is the first time I've got to. Any way what ever one I keep, will get customed, I also fancy the new( or first time I've noticed them) hawke airsporter 30 sf 8-32x50 I was thinking of the sidewinder 30 but the shop I was in didn't have a sidewinder in stock to compare them. So I thought ille ask on here if I can suss out again how to reply on here and ask you g -
Hi folks this has probably been mentioned before but are the two as accurate as each other. Or is one better than the other. I noticed Mr pittaway has had the two versions.as probably a lot of you guys have had and still have. I'm torn between the two, I supose the answers like how longs a piece of string.im disabled so most of my shooting will be off of a bench or table sitting down.plinking at targets. So fire away folks with your thoughts and answers and thanks in advance to any one that gives their views
