It sounds as if you may have been miss informed as to the sex of you HH, which wouldnt be the first time & no doubt the last, as it sounds to me to be a male at that weight as well. ATB. Will

Well it looks a very nice place mate, with some cracking views! Stephen mentioned that you may be moving. I guess on the plus side, doing it at this time of the year the birds will have quite a bit of time to settle into new surroundings! BTW, Stanna do a good range in stair lifts if you need one I'd say go with the 99%..... Will

Good question.... Some say that Redtails can make good beginners birds mate! Back in the old days, some people would start with a Common Buzzard. Weight margins with these were not so critical as with Kestrels & Spars etc due to their size... However, they do need to be really fit & flown regularly to compare with the hunting capabilities to its bigger relation or a harris hawk! Hope this helps!
