Hey Milo, Now you have a ferret, your hawking will get so so much better mate! Especially your Rabbit numbers. I know the books suggest light coloured (albino) ferrets for hawking due to the colour of them being like nothing else they may hunt... But if the hawk is gotten used to the ferret & see's it enough & worked over it enough, i.e, ferret down the hole & out pops a rabbit, then it will quickly learn that the ferret is part of the hunting team & not to be hunted! Hey Milo, Lamping has its good & bad times just like daytime hunting. I wouldnt drop him too drastically. Maybe take a small amount off & try him! Have you tried dragging a dead one for him? I was out tonight with my male & he had several good chases & hit 5 of them but just didnt get his footing right! Most frustrating... Especially when you find yourself running around after your hawk who is being towed around ontop of the back of a rabbit, only for it to get free & make it to cover!!! Keep at it mate & it will pay off... Will

Well I managed to get Ellie down in weight enough for a trip out today (god its still mild)... Anyway, being her first outing of the season, I just wanted her to do a bit of following on to return some of her fat back into muscle again! 15 minutes out of the truck & this was the result....... Happy Days! Out with the young male tomorrow. Fingers crossed he gets a kill too!!! Will

Thanks j j m. Didnt get Flash out yesterday after his crop full of warm bunny on Friday. But managed to get out this afternoon with Jasper. First rabbit bolted & he was on a mission, really saw him come into condition today @ just over 1lb 7oz ! 2nd Bunny Bagged! Happy Days. Cheers again Jasper.

Enjoyed the wander out today Will.. also a great way to finish the day with your male nailing that Bunny after the efforts he put in, the end result was perfect . He'll be killing very soon mate. Was 1lb7oz tonight & its been quite mild too... Well happy with him! Yep, garden weed stuff mate... Spaces, 75mm centres, 20mm broom handles, gives you 55mm gaps! Works for me. She doesnt look quite that good at the moment, a right scruffy cow lol! Roll on the end of the moult!!! Will

Hi Simon, There is a wooden floor in the weigh room part of the shed. The rest of the flooring is as you said, pea gravel but over a membrane, not a plastic sheet. I have no issues with drainage at all. The window opening is 6ft across by 2ft6". Cheers. Will
