  1. 10:50 BST tomorrow, women's rowing 4. Howay the lass'!
  2. The Olympics has never been an important event on the sporting calendar for me but tend to get behind our lads and lasses on the final run in from a national pride point. Important that we show the rest of the world that we can still compete. A vested interest this year a friend's daughter is competing in the rowing. He's in Paris giving his support and as would be imagined immensely proud. Particularly pleasing as he went through a very difficult time when his children were young as their mam moved out and took them away from him. As often happens their mam's opinion of their dad made things
  3. Some genuine people got on board as far as I am aware but don't think progressed from a working point of view. See the occasional litter advertised on sites such as Pets4Homes, freakish looking things for £1000+ money. I was taking the piss, D B Plummer made the claim years ago as to how easy it would be to re-create the Sealyham. He maybe could have done, a very clever man by all accounts, but didn't.
  4. Par for the course validation of an existing electrical installation this week. Whilst waiting for the chap giving us access to remember the code to switch room I got bored and starting nosing around. My work colleague asked what I was looking at and when told RATS he was horrified but assumed my interest was from an H&S perspective. No, I am always overjoyed to find evidence of a rat stronghold and the mind races... is it ferretable? Who do I need to speak to to get terriers in? No ferrets now and only one old terrier, but old habits die hard (it's f***ing CCTV covered anyway )
  5. Re-creating the old stamp working type Sealyham terrier would be an interesting project. A skilled breeder could have the newly created type breeding true in 4 generations.
  6. I don't see why having a small penis should prevent two people having a loving and caring relationship? It's not the size of your cock that bothers me pet, it's the fact you've got one!
  7. Is that in regard to the ear carriage Shaaark?
  8. I also found this, more befitting to my working class Oik status
  9. Not acquired but seen today. There's a tiny antique centre directly across from one of our current projects and I often pop in for a nose around. My knowledge of antiques and collectables is restricted to watching Bargain Hunt and Dickinson's Real Deal. Appealed more for the deer and dogs aspect than any Art Nouveau credentials. Seemed ligit though. MFL pewter c.1906. Not rare, a quick Google search found the same ranging from £160 to £450. £225 price on the one I seen today. I wont be buying it but enjoyed finding and looking at it.
  10. Crisis over. Re call may be the next problem
  11. Is the tractor for sale? Any more pics of the tractor?
  12. Very nice little rifles that many of us started out with. Not cheap back in the day so usually second hand. An accurate but low/medium powered single shot spring action open sighted air rifle I think is the best type to learn yourself shooting skills and fieldcraft. Nice to see one being preserved.
  13. Buffy or Von Helsing?
  14. Read the 1st sentence of the original post. Perhaps the pup is 3 month old, give or take a few weeks?
  15. Gazza would be like get the ball, beat your man, pass the ball, scream for it back, beat your man, score a goal ...then... I've told yous what to do, why aren't yous doing it? Do yous need another can or some more chicken?
  16. I was trying to use the chicken for scale, but I suspect that ain't no ordinary chicken. Foghorn Leghorn?
  17. That was the frustrating thing, nothing at all lacking in the squad we had in Germany, but for some reason that only he knows, the manager refused to utilise them.
  18. You took the words right off my fingers
  19. In the top picture looks like he's got some growing to do yet. Got a houndy look to him, Plott hound type blood with some mastiff or bull type also? Very nice anyway.
  20. Quite right, Howe's nothing but a chancer, taking credit for a team doing OK only after Steve Bruce had laid down the solid foundations. Talking of the Corbridge cabbage heed, he would suit the FA down to the ground. Play 85 minutes with 10 men behind the ball then have have a proper go in the last 5. Like for like really.
  21. I was trying to not mention Anthony Gordon as I am admittedly very biased after watching him play fantastically all season for my home club. But, as the superb Cole Palmer changed things whenever he was brought on during the competition, we could have had the same thing on the left with Gordon. Those 2 changes with Toney or Watkins on 60 minutes and we could have been battering the opposition. In regard to Bellingham and Foden, another Lampard/Gerrard conundrum.

    Obesity.

I try to avoid using public transport whenever possible but took a chance yesterday as I was heading into town and intending to have a drink, given that England were playing the only taxi drivers working would be foreigners and too far to walk. Tyne & Wear metro. So many fat lasses. Once into town, so many fat lasses. In the pubs, so many fat lasses. OK, there have always been chubby people around, and I am no Brad Pitt (not so much these days anyway) nothing wrong with that, but a bizarre number of young people, mostly female, that were of... well, as has been said, space hopper proportio
  23. For decades a common thread during usual the post - mortem after another England fail is that we need to learn from the countries that are beating us. The Germans, the French etc. What are they doing differently to us? It always used to be youth development. Everyone else was better at that than us. That can no longer be the reason. Young talent is recognised at an early age now, nurtured, developed and protected surely? Yes most of our players still ply their trade at home but have come through the ranks or been scouted or bought by EPL clubs that are some of the wealthiest in the world
  24. One last request, Why Aye Man. I still believe our Anthony Gordon will make the difference.
  25. Could someone with better IT skills than myself post Bowie, Changes?
