Don,t be so naive,at times the best of dog men and women know whats best for them and their charges,sentiment gets in the way of reality.Its harder to be hard than naive.if it's sick or badly injured ok needs to be done but just to old to work as was implied for me no mate not ever just not that way as for kennel room just start the new one in the house

If they work hard for you in my opinion you should work hard for them feck kennel space it gave its all so should you I read somewhere work em hard treat em like hero's just my opinion

I had a Russell this.dog would.work any thing large or small from a small pup he went everywhere with me work the lot was brought up in a scaffold lorry he got stollen once and was missing for 3 months only to be found on a traveler camp by a traveling man I used to dig with the dog reached 15 and I had to have him pts mate I don't mind telling all I cried like a baby

Try getting one 12 ttw for thick hedge bottoms and layed hedges there is no ideal bushing dog coz every place is different that's what I'm getting at some suit one thing some another doesn't mean one is shite and the other not its all just personal preference

I have found good bushing dogs are never phased by wat ground or cover their worked on tbh.they may not be phased but I've seen larger dogs go through thick low slung bramble and dogrose and come out a bleeding mess I personally use a dog that suits the land or cover I want to flush

Thanks people nut I think you all misunderstood what I was asking not wether I should do it but does it compare to coursing as a adrenaline kick as I don't run muts no more and I've seen hawks worked along side bushing terrier

A.friend of mine has a female Harris and a red tail I've always hunted with dogs and ferrets and my friend is trying to get me in to birds bin out with him a couple of times and don't see me doing it but he recons when you train your own bird and go on your own it's different and compairs it to coursing with a dog and I'm after some impartial views please

It's all in switch control don't just turn it on you have to flick it on and off I found a car battery isolater switch is best it's like a key just open and close the switch you don't even need to open the switch fully £10 halfords
