Short for a collie grey

Cheers lads, it's the second season of beating I'm just starting. The the beat is very rough in spots, big bankings covered in brambles and it often looks like a sniper is picking the beaters off the way we go down so expensive is out of the question lol. The wax chaps sound a good idea
-
Can anyone recommend a good pair for trousers for beating? Fancied jack pykes countryman but what do you lads use in the rough stuff?

Stolen valor I think the yanks call it brewman
-
Which do you use and which would be cheaper to run?
-
As skycat said, I only use de and never had a problem. Hand full mixed in the bedding and rub some in they coats if they be round stock or other dogs. Even chuck some in with the ferret. Cheap enough as well
-
What do u lads use and do they cost much to run?
-
They only good for rats and rabbits, been over 10 years since any 1 on here put a lurcher on a fox or hare. Get yourself a golden egale for fox and hare, few quid when you breed the bugger to ?

Getting The Kennel Ready For Willows Pups
Rustypippa replied to Snifferboy's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Fair play them pups will have the best chance a pup could ask for. When my bitch had a litter this year I would stick a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel in with them for the first week or 2 at night. Thumbs up to that set up mate, top notch -
Any one using a pulsar challenger gs with a dsa? Interested in getting 1 and wondering how you get on with it
