  1. ben Nevis seems to never end,scarfel very step and loose under foot, and snowdens in between the both but because it was the last one and I was bolloxed I found that the most difficult but best view wise

  3. cheers mate I'm fancying Kilimanjaro tbh but the Mrs ain't as keen to let me go haha that's definitely one for the bucket list thoYou need to man up a bit ? I done Kili three years ago, it was a great experience. It's a piece of piss really, although the summit night's a bit of a slog I got a bit altitude sick at the top.im the boss in the house buddy well when she ain't there anyway ?, a lad I done the three peaks with said exactly the same as you pal, great experience camps ready every night for you but he struggled with altitude bad aswel, something I will definitely do in the future though

  5. You'll be sound, it's a cracking mountain in fairness. I'll go up again one day soon. I think early doors is the key, miss all the tourists. yea you'll be fine mate just take it easy and enjoy it take plenty of grub like snacks and fluids maybe a flask if your gunna stop a few times and take extra clothing because two thirds of the way up it will get really cold, hope the rain fucks off for you aswel haha ?

  12. thanks mate we started at 6:30 and weren't to bad then tbh but coming down was hard work because of the amount of people that had started after us, it's definitely the busiest of the three everybody wants to do the biggest one don't they haha

  14. i think so as well pal if she works like her dam she l be some pup, she's a first cross beagle/Russel mate hopefully by dropping the Russel into the breeding we l keep up now, the rest of the pack stays pretty close but the beagle just goes and goes lol

Evening all ain't been on in a while but thought I'd give you an update on how it went I competed it anyway haha it was hard work but I did enjoy it traveling was a complete c**t mind oh and Ben Nevis has got to be the wettest place in the U.K. I've been up the twice now and it's proper pissed down from start to finish twice, and that didn't help because that's the first one to do lol, completed it in just under 23 hours great experience and I raised just over £1800 for cancer which is what it's all about here's a few pics I didn't manage to get any up Ben Nevis because my phone would of broke

  19. I think their a cracking cross tbh, great coat, bags of drive, hearts of lions and a good nose, which ticks the boxes in a lurcher for me, I'f all goes well I'm useing a Wheaton/grey on this bitch when she breaks down next
  20. i agree pal you can't fuk about with these mountains I didn't realise how much the weather differs from base to summit it was 13 degrees at base and minus 6 up top of Ben Nevis and that's in June people's phones were breaking because they were getting soaked from the rain going up and then freezing at the top

  22. yea 24hours pal and it's organised by cancer research Wales, how did you find it pal ?It was a decent little adventure and I enjoyed it..., and another tick in the box.We done it in on a Friday in July starting BN at about 18.00 in good weather. By the time we got off the heavens had opened and the drive South and climb up SP were done in a feckin monsoon. It cleared up by the time we got to Wales and we got up and down MS to finish in ~ 23hrs. As far as tips go, it's mostly common sense and been covered above.
