I wanted to breed some 3/4's from my bitch this year, she came in season a few weeks ago but was never interested in standing for the dog, when she should have been bang ready she went out? She might come back in i think, her body clocks been a bit haywire the last couple of years, a litter would probably sort her out a bit imo? If i did breed or get the chance of a 3/4 i would still pick a pup with more spaniel influence, if any came out that way? I don't want or need really fast dogs for what i do, water any base blood down to much or breed to far away from the base and you'd lose the

She sounds very much like my bitch Wuyang, mines more of a fast busher than a lurcher at 16" tts, but that's what i wanted, she does catch a bit, but that's not really her job.........Hard to fault mine for what i want really, never stops hunting, works cover pretty well, obedient and very easy bitch to get along with, good round the house and grandkids, after having her my next proper runner will be spaniel based. Most of the runners iv'e had, if not all, had collie from half, to just a dash, i don't see why you couldn't get a similar dog using spaniel blood? And i know this probably wont

I have not bought newspapers (local or national) for about 5 years and I very really bother with "the news".......I decided a while ago that it's just full of negative spew designed to make people react one way or the other depending on who the paper or TV channel is supporting that week. Hunting is banned on all estates, unless you're royal/gentry...........what f***ing use it that to any of us? Just out of interest............How many lads advocating collie x's have any experience with gundog x's? Having had, bred, seen both i'd rather have the gundog blood personally. -
My lurcher, sired by big land boy, dam was collie hybrid, maybe some beddy? Hes pretty fast over a short distance, but lacks real stamina, gives it 100% though, can't complain.

They add a bit of bull blood now and again mate, but i think that's to add physical strength and determination, obviously not speed, but bred away from a bit the strength and determination has got to be a good thing?

Real ales, but only the darker ones, Theakstones old peculiar takes some beating, hard to get on tap here though, been trying a few bottled real ales lately and enjoyed Hob Goblin.

Iv'e got a whipp/spaniel bitch TC, me and the eldest lad bred them on purpose, i wanted a certain type of busher, and thought this x would be ideal, she does everything i wanted, and more besides. If you want a dog for working thick/heavy cover a lot there's better options imo, but on mixed ground they take some beating, i don't ferret these days, but mine would make a good ferreting dog, iv'e no doubts on that at all, very obedient little bitch. Its a shame yours had the bad start, although i think things could come right with patience. Both ours are a bit sensitive, even with a good star

f**k sake...................You've got to draw a legal line somewhere, legally, she can't give consent............It doesn't matter how world wise or even devious she was/is...........its irrelevant...........it shouldn't matter what she did, any normal bloke would have kept their distance.........If you think any behaviour by a 15 year old could sway a man, or help him when he got caught, by way of mitigating circumstances, maybe its time to have a good look at yourself?
