  1. Hi Mike, check everything tight or not bent, barrel, mod, scope if so and problem persists try changing the scope.
  2. Sounds exactly like my childhood except my first was a bsa meteor in .22 flavour. I swapped a German army survival knife for it.
  3. Ok thanks, there is a problem with that. I binned the box and all the stuff that comes with it, I dident need all that. Just wanted the angel eye.
  4. Hi all can someone tell me what cable I need to connect my angeleye and yukon photon xt. Or if someone has a link to where I can get one. Thanks
  5. Ive got a r10 and a hw100. The quality/ finish of the r10 isn't as good as the hw. Ive put a huma in my r10, i would budget for one if you're going to buy one, as the standard reg is pants and will fail eventually. The hw has never missed a beat, the only mod ive done is degrease. In my opinion go for a hw100.
  6. Went out on my perm this afternoon, more to get out the house than anything else. The bunnies are still small but i pick and choose the biggest and leave the kits. The first i shot and the only one that I shot, i left to deflee as i always do. I went back after about 30-40 minutes and the resident buzzard had a free meal on me.
  7. Im too far, but ill donate a tenner if something is set up.
  8. AAs in my hw100, JSB heavy in r10
  9. Buy some AAs and shoot the thing, sod washing and all that crap.
  10. Ok, I ask because ive just bought one for my daughter and Im in the middle of pimping it up a little. Put a steel breech on, next extended probe, then a tipman extendable stock and maybe a hpa conversion.
  11. What mods have you done to your ratty?
  12. Ive just bought one for my daughter. Shes too small to use my hw100 or r10. There not bad for what they are, ive done some mods, going to do more but the wife has put a holt on the £££. Wish you spoke up two days ago I would of bought it.
  13. None of the modern forces use a electric controlled trigger on any assault rifle, sniper rifle, or any rifle as it happens. Because there crap.
  14. None of the modern forces use a electric controlled trigger on any assault rifle, sniper rifle, or anh rifle as it happens. Because there crap.
  15. Ok cheers for the heads up. ill keep you all posted on the results.
  16. Interesting, well that being the case ill just have to put the old springs back in. What problems did the kit present?
  17. There is nothing wrong with my hw it also preforms excellently. The springs are to make the action smoother, and quieter. It is possible to improve on a near perfect rifle.
  18. Bought myself some new bits for my hw100, rowan single band, new anti tamper, hammer spring, valve spring anti bounce kit. Love tinkering, cant help it. The rifles only 3 month old so bye bye warranty.
  19. I think your over analysing things. Shoot however you want, what is practical and comfortable and offers the steadiest shot. You should not strain for a shot (twist or force yourself to hold aim), the rifle should point naturally at the target, dont hold your aim for too long, dont hold your breath, these will make you shake, or faint. Breathe correctly, Squeeze the trigger, dont pull it. Always follow through after the shot.
  20. Ive shot lots of tiny ones, the wife hates it but the all have to go.
  21. I had the same problem with some farm land, its been work in the past, locals with air rifles, also poachers from the road side. Super shy rabbits they run as soon as the see me they even ran when my car pulled up. There out all day most days with a hi vantage point can see anything comming and bolt. They could be shot if using the stone walls to creap up on them, lamping was a no no as poachers got them shy. So I bit the bullet and bought nv, love it, they have no clue now. I can happily shoot one after the next using the wind as my friend.
  22. Yes the grease does affect the rifle as I noticed when hunting in the colder nights of winter. Simple strip and spray degrease into the hammer slide ways and now super consistent in all weathers.
