    Also waiting for Barley (and wheat and rape) to be cut. My perm's got plenty of warrens, albeit nearly all hidden by summer crops. I guess we're all waiting for the old combine to get out the barn!

    You can get a decent used Daystate Hunstman for around £450 nowadays...it's an amazing gun (don't listen to the detractors) and will hit everything you point it at...everything!

    Hi all, My name is Rich and I've just joined the forum on the recommendation of a good friend who posts prolifically on here. After a long -20 years- absence, I started air rifle shooting again at the end of last year and worked my way through springers .22 and .177 until I find myself armed with a Daystate Hunstsman pcp. Until I bought the Daystate, I didn't seem able to hit the proverbial barn door at 20 paces! I have a wonderful permission to shoot on which is complete with bunnies, woodies, corvids and even hares, partridges and pheasants (when in their respective seasons of course!)
