I think hybrid ing the right way to improve the working bedlington can't do any harm . I have seen a 3/4 beddy Leakey that to me looked more like the true beddy from years ago than most of the weak leggy things of today . I personally think a small percentage of Lakeland put into your working beddy line would hope fully add a bit of power to there heads and attitude as well as bringing the size down slightly with out making them to small and weak . I saw one on here a few weeks ago that's looked a nice thing . Atb also all terriers years ago was created buy crossing one terrier strain to an
We'll sounds like we're on the same wave length Morton i am very thick skinned a will definitely not give up I've only recently seen the parents to mine work and they are worked hard and was impressed . You are right a lot of boys have them to breed and make there dollar . But I will be workin and eventually breed from my tested working beddies to keep a couple back and would gift pups to fellow terrier man . I only have working in mind for my beddies and by the sounds of it it will be a challenge but look forward to it . Good luck to you and your terriers hope you do we'll and achieve what Ev
As would say to anyone all I will try my best to do is hopefully help the breed and Crete a few more true working beddies . So will say I think people should try and stick together and help wher needed to carry on true workers I as an individual terrier man will not do any harm to the breed only try and carry a working line on . I will probly go thru a few useless ones to get true workers same as any other breed . And I am only interested in getting enjoyment from seing my dogs work to there highest ability . Atb
I have always workedlakelands and borders all my life . And now chosen to get in to working beddlinton s . That was my choice so what ever gives you the right tell people what breed than can work . And y every time some mentions a bed day on here you put the dog down every time . Y u think you have the right to get opinionated every time some one has a beddy pup is beyond me . I got the the pup from a friend of mine so will in time from tryin ing a testeing what ever bed dies I have . I will end up with my own line of true working bedlintons trust me . I think you should stop talkin down to p
She's from too good workers who are both under fifteen . I wouldn't breed from or have crap in my kennels never had done always work mine to the highest standard . As far as I know whether lurchers or terriers most people know the hight of there dogs whether they measure or look and guess the height .
The head a does look more Leakey as it seem quite long and boxy at the front . But looks a lovely dog Atb with it . Whereabouts in Kent are you from ? Doesn't seem to be many terrier boys in kent ?
After a stud to put with my parsons bitch she's due in soon . She's out of a dog called rushhill dodge , she's very good type and works very well just tryin to get a dog lined up . For when she comes in .
