Haha you always make me laugh Phil, It's not as easy as I thought it would be. The two breads iv wrote on my previous post is what I'm after so I'm going to take my time, In picking the type I want out of the to. Like a couple of you lads have said, not so keen on an out right bushing terrier there not really for me I'd as I want something with that touch of speed, Thanks again lads for you comments and suggestions, atb lads and happy hunting

terryd what swayed you to get you lurcher to lurcher? I only ask cause I don't want to rush and get the first pup I see and think looks good, atb with the dog an I hope he matures in to a brilliant hunting companion atb James

Hi Phil, Thank you for the advice, im torn between a collie/whippet and a beddy/whippet, I don't need a big dog for the ferreting I do. But like you have said I will take my time cause the dog I get is going to be with me for years to come, on all my outing I'll keep you updated on what I'm licking at or getting all the best mate
