  1. I wouldn't say my jack bitch is an all rounder more a jack of all trades, she is a demon on the foxes and by this I mean bolting them as I have no interest in spending my days digging holes in solid flint and chalk, she's extremely handy on the rats, will flush anything from cover. Now this is where she differs from most terriers I can take her pigeon shooting and have her retrieve birds all day and last but not least she has retrieved a shot duck from water. 2. It's posts like this that remind me why I love terrier work so much. Happy hunting pal.
  3. Thanks guys, his stuff was all pretty standard looking as terriers go, although it did look very showy.
  4. I overheard a fella say at a show that he only breeds short coupled dogs. Anyone know what this means?
  5. I've got a tiny 10inch Russell, she's not only small but slight in frame too. She is an absolute demon on the reds, possibly the best bolting dog I've ever owned.
  6. Thanks for your input guys, very helpful. I'm going to the midland game fair in a couple of weeks so ill grab a bellman there. Thanks again guys, happy hunting
  7. Where about in the south you talking pal?
  8. Never really get to use my locator as I have a 100% bolter but I've just got a new jack bitch and I think it's only wise to stick a collar on her til I get to know her. I've always used the deben clicker box but I'm hearing great things about the bellman and flint locator. Any of you guys care to shed some light on them. If I like what I hear ill grab one at the midland gamefair. Thanks in advance chaps.
