alot of people dont even know what its ment to do,u want the long stiff stuff this helps stimulate the birds and make it more realistic and natural for the foot and to stop it getting bumble foot, you dont want the stuff from green grocers and the like of football pitches as its more like a carpet ,

millet id get rid of the high perches until ur free lofting the bird as this can cause them to bate wanting to get high up ,make them so the remove easy and same going back in

casting jacket or old football sock make it so easy ,once cast you can take ur time and no need to panic plus miles better than a towel wrapped around the bird by a mate as then there is a pair of arms in ur way p.s if the bird is made to the hood like it should be casting becomes even more easy ..... another plus point for hooding

Is correct mate 2 lb 10 oz her flying wrigt of a day and 3 lb10oz when you fly of a night or have I read this wrong Typo mate should say 3lb at night 6 oz is alot of difference with a red !!!
