you can use glue if u want so what u do is get ur thin leather and fold it in half and glue it together then apply contact glue to both surfaces and let it dry then stick together or stich ( my way) what have to punch the holes in the hood leather like u do when attaching the side panels to the center panel,but dont put holes in the pipping ,there is a dvd by ron rollins that is a god send to buy and worth getting mate. the shine is put on after burnishing with a wooden dowel or as i used a persex one (both as good) and then put a few coats of sadlee lac i used to get all my gear from leprev

why cos im honest and direct ,my love is for falconry and the upkeep of the birds most so and the future of the sport and u coming out with comments like u do does urs self no good what so ever,u been on here a week or so and came on asking about a mentor and i went on the net and found u 4 links in ur area that tool all of 2 mins ,then i told u go the the falconry meeting and talk to the lads ect ,then u come out with the comment its looking like im going to go it on my own as cant find a mentor and ur latest comment u know what ur doing anyway except gos and falcon ,what i joke

there is a dam good chance u will need it ,look for a second hand set on ebay but not going to get much for that money ,why not save up more as i cant see a mentor telling u get a bird this season if he worth his salt ,u need to get lots and lots of expricance first so save all ur money and learn first

u get what u pay for as i keep telling you and if u was serious about the sport u would invest into a proper telem set not the cheapest u can find ,if the bird cost u 1,000 would u still be looking for the cheapest set you could get then ???
