  1. [will give it another go then sue, im keeping two jill kits and il put them back in with her tomorrow, your right she is stressed you can tell. i just hope she doesnt drag the kits about like she has the other jill. she will be kept a close eye on. many thanks for your advice.
  2. i did try that sue and it did calm her down but the trouble was she wouldnt let me handle the kits at all, so i wasnt sure i was doing the right thing for them!
  3. they are ten weeks now she had them with her until they where eight and a half weeks, they were all fully weaned as her milk had dried up when they were about eight weeks. the kits are all big and healthy but mum isnt doing nearly as well. she is eating and drinking well but is behaving like a looney, im worried she is going to damage her teeth and feet with all the chewing and digging.
  4. our kits have been weaned now for two weeks and are almost ready to go, we removed them gradulary as this was her first time and she had 11 and although she done a brill job the kits really took it out of her. she rejoined her conpanion a week ago but we have had to seperate them as she will not leave the other jill alone and has made all her neck sore with dragging her around. she is now alone and is behaving like a rabbid ferret, she is constantly knoring at her hutch and bites when we try to handle her. we had bred ferrets for several years and iv had them on there toes for a while after th

  13. took my dog sasha to raysted dog sanctuary open day and entered her in a few show classes just for some hands on experiance as she is only 5 1/2 months so its all good association for her. she won best dog in show out of 520 entered. not bad for a lurcher, we all think our dog is the best but its real good when you get told by others, so she really is the dogs bollocks.
  14. what a great read, it must have taken you ages to record and then type up all your info, but well worth it, its lovely to hear such dedication. we have 11 kits at the moment and they are eating eveything that my hubby can shoot, they are all so gorgous i love having the babies every year.
  15. hi all, my five month old lurcher pup has been a real pleasure to have around she has always been very layed back and wants to be in my company, all her basic training has been quite text book but for some reason all of a sudden she seems to be having selective hearing when i recall her. if i walk the opposite way from her she will follow but still isnt coming to heal. any ideas what i should be doing?

If you have a good look at the poleys with the white feet there eyes should be ruby red not black eyes not open yet kay, is that from the albino i
