not done alot with sasha yet shes 18 month old so was to young last winter,and she in season now ,but she catchs rabbits on the lamp well ,am looking forward to getting out with soon mate

sasha is wheaton x greyhound x saluki x greyhound, she is 20months old and coming along real good, she catches well on the lamp and as you can see is great with the ferret, she has the most dosile personality and is great with the family and all other dogs what more can i say she is just a cracker!

total respect for there trainer, a dog shouldnt touch its food until its told it can, we have always fed our lurcher this way and our 12 week old terrier is already waiting until the ok command is given befor she eats. mind you not quite sure how you would keep a check on which dogs are getting enough with that amount, crazy lol

thank you for your help, sasha feeling a bit sorry for herself and i didnt want her fitness to go down hill but didnt want to do any thing that may make her uncomfortable either. i will take her out late when i know no one will be around and that way as you said she can still have her run around and il have to get my bike out of the shed, many thanks

sasha came into season yesterday ,which is a pain as was going to lamp her this week,what sort of exercise would u suggest while sasha is in heat and how long after can i lamp her .

just got back from taking sasha for a quick shine she caught two that were both pretty close to me, although this time she didnt do her usual trick and walk of with them, i asked her to wait and when i walked to her she handed them over live which is a big first for her as she usually gives them a good crunch to make sure they are dead befor she leaves them, being only a young dog and quite immiture for her 18 months it looks like things are starting to come together!!!

thanks for your comments took sasha to the vet she had no temp so the vet said she had picked something up while in the fields, two jabs and a couple of days pills and she was back to her usual self, well worth the 80squid she is worth every penny.

my wheaton cross is 18months now and been working on the lamp really well but she will not retreive! i have done all the training with her you could possibly do but to no success, she catches and holds them until i ask for them but normally i have to go to her, this really doesnt worry me as its only bunnies for her tea. you do find that they either do or dont, i would love to see her trot back to me with her catch but its not gunna happen now, but she has stopped crunching them and they are alive when i get them now. bonus!! but dont give up coz you just never know im still hoping that when
