Ive seen a few good reviews but I really dont like the look of a wood stock. Would you say the 97KT is the best tactical stock for the money?

Ahh not good then... The only problem with Crieff is that its 113 miles away from me. Not entirely ideal. I "think" there is a gun shop about 25 miles from where I live though so may head over and have a look. This isnt as easy a decision as I thought it would be!

Is the HW 97KT Tactical any good? A little more expensive but I can get it with a finance option and I MUCH prefer the look of the tactical.

Im buying my first rifle for hunting + target shooting. I have decided on the BSA Lightning XL Tactical in .177 calibre and just have a few questions. Would it be recommended to buy a bi-pod or is it not really needed? Is there a better pellet to use or is it all trial and error? Which scope would I be better with out of the following: Hawke Eclipse 12x50 AO IR mil-dot Hawke Eclipse 16x50 AO IR mil-dot Or is there not much difference in the 2? Any other tips would be appreciated too. Cheers
