    I'm looking at taking on a Lurcher. Im a terrierman but Iv got the ground and the time to take on a running dog. The problem I'm having is I don't know what cross to get in. It will need to be capable both night and day and able to take all quarry. Not fussed about coat. But I don't want a massive thing. I should add iv been around and out with several lurchers but fancy one of my own. Any suggestions?

    All mine have snapped. But I fully admitt I don't do anything to maintain them. The last lot of leather couples I got from BNF didn't even last the season.

    if ya don't look after leather it will snap its a must you feed the leather and put moisture back in the leather with wax and so on Yeah I know that Pal. But with the strong Stuff Collars I take it off the dog and hang it up untill I use it again. Bollocks to having to soap and Polish them every time they get wet. No brainer for me

    Best Collars by far. Iv had loads of leather ones. Even had a mate who is a saddler make me one out of what was supposed to be the best leather. Snapped like all the others. I wouldn't buy anything but strong Stuff now. Bloke is a pleasure to deal with but he has the luxury of picking and choosing who he deals with.

    Iv got a 22 pistol and a 410 folding shotgun. They both do the job but I prefer the 410. And if I could get my hands on a 410 pistol the 22 wouldn't get a look in.

    Depends on the situation. Most lads that still gift pups see them as another branch of they're kennel. There breeding but being run on somewhere else. So it's an investment when you look at it. So the money you put into that pup will come back eventually in one easy or another. Like I say depends on the situation and terms when gifting the pup.

    Don't know the bloke but you could tell. Thought the black un that got reserve was a nicer animal.

    Must admitt I didn't think the Russel was up to much. And you could see the fatter judge of the 2 liked his Russels. He seemed to ignore any coloured stuff that was on the bigger size. Each to there own and all that. Can't please everyone.

    I was thinking of going up to it on the Sunday. Never been before so don't know what is like.

    Putting a dog to the hole wont necessarily mean she will move them pal. They're is a spot I found a couple of months ago that one of mine marked, Went in a few foot and when I pulled him out a cub came to the hole. Just say they're a second and then went back in. So I left them to it and they're still there now. And there is several spots she could move them to if she wanted.

    It won't get repealed. But at least we know it won't get any tougher over the next 5 years.

    It's a fault that will be passed onto his offspring. As said he has probably got 2 but one is retained. The one that doesn't drop can cause problems down the line if not removed.

    I had the same problem last year mate. The exhaust on mine has been welded a few times by the previous owner so I opted for a new one. I used quad bikes wale. Reasonable price and good to deal with. I fitted it myself with ease and I'm fecking useless with a spanner lol
