  1. Cant moan at that. Iv heard there pretty good on after care. But then the terrier world is small and wouldn't take long for word to get round if they were shite.
  2. I'd like to see more being dug to. Iv only dug to one and can't fault the dog for what he does. I'd like to see if any others are as good or better.
  3. There is a 7 Ft fence around our chickens at work and last summer they lost several. I sat up one night with the night vision and watched a fox scramble up the fence with ease. And it turned out to be a half grown cub.
  4. Lol. You really should find out who someone is and what they have done before making a comment. Did make me laugh though so thanks for that.
  5. I gave my Plummer to my digging partner last season as he was short on dogs. Otherwise I'd have taken you up on that offer. He is the only one iv seen work so maybe he is a one off. He will be 3 in May and has been dug to 20 + Times. Stays till dug to but you can call him out if need be. Like I said not my cup of tea personally but he is a handy tool.
  6. The Plummer we have in our team can't be faulted for what he does. I'd put him in any earth. I compare him to a good Russell. Uses his voice but won't be pushed around. I'm not a Plummer or Russell fan personaly as I like my black stuff. But that little dog came out the box more then any other dog this season. And has accounted for more foxes then any other terrier we have. He is a valuable tool. But I would only want one in my kennel personally.
  7. Use 410 and 22 pistol. But prefer the 410
  8. Plummer pups always have a price tag. But any black uns you see advertised are normally £200 If I bred my Plummer Bitch down the line the pups will be gifted to lads I know are going to work them. But if I had any left I'd sell them to lads that wanted them. The good thing about gifting pups is you have a say in there future. If you sell a pup as far as I'm concerned you have no say in what happens to it down the road. Each to there own. I bought my first Plummer as the guy didn't know me from Adam. But iv never payed a penny for any other terrier and hopefully I will never have to
  9. On the triple quad boxes do they come with 2 sets of plastic to keep the weather out. Meaning one to cover all the mesh front and one to cover half of it? And is there no way of locking each compartment?
  10. How did the rest of the litter turn out KD? Is the line fairly tight anyway? Heard of a few lads putting Son over mother before.
  11. What about the lad that bred her mate? He not want her back?
  12. I'm sure your inbox will be booming pal. Hope you find a good working home for her.
  13. Never Worked or seen the dog in the flesh but there is lads on here that would have done.He is probably the most used Stud dog and most if not all Plummers around today will have lines going back to him. He was By a dog called Damien and out of a Bitch called Rip. He sired alot of well known dogs. Viper probably being the most well known. I personally think the better dogs go back to his litter brother Rupert. Rupert being Vandals Sire out of the Bitch Pagan 2. Vandal is very well known for his working ability and alot of lads that work Plummers to ground will have dogs saturated with h
  14. My black un never comes off a lead mate. His desire to get in the nearest hole is far greater then his desire to listen to me shouting and screaming. And I wouldnt want him any other way. Once they go to ground mate your asking for trouble leaving him running loose.
  15. Your probably right WM. But it's the Paper followers I'm taking about. And these people wouldn't be interested in the pup for that reason. If you say the dog is out of good digging dogs and he does the job himself then it's nice your putting your name forward to vouch for the dog. I'm guessing you have dug over the dogs in question? As for the Dam like you say it's difficult to Try and push a working pup when the Mother hasn't worked.
  16. Nice to know she is going sonewhere she will see abit. Not enough Plummers given the chance of some proper work. ATB mate.
  17. I'll tell you why, because the bitches breeding is unknown so no paperwork to go with the Pup. And I wouldn't personaly buy a terrier for digging out of a "farm bitch" Not knocking the pup at all. What I'm saying is it won't appeal to the Plummer faithfull and it won't appeal to digging lads either.
  18. Crackers them TTV. Black un looks proper. Tidy little ears.
  19. I had a pair of Sneekers that I wore around camp and on exercise. Had them about 5 years. Lived in them. Very comfortable boot. And never had a problem with them letting water in.
  20. It's about 2 1/2 hours past bristol
  21. Funny how it's all gone quiet! LOL. Makes me sick how people use blokes names to sell pups. I'm all for knowing the breeding of pups I get in. But if someone has to advertise pups using this name and that name. There probably talking out there ass!
