  1. My eldest described a 'ghost' he saw wearing exactly that in the house here, except it was a baseball type cap instead. Am pretty sure nobody who will have died in the house in the past will have been dressed like that so I'm sure we're ok lol
  2. A spot we go on in the dales has a single width road running along the top side of the permission. It splits the moors and the fields. I wasn't there on the particular night but a mate of mine swears he saw a young girl (about eight years old) skipping up the middle of the road one night in a white dress. I believe that he believes that's what he saw and he's never really suggested it was a ghost but.. A kid out at 2am, on a deserted road, old fashioned looking clothes and not responding when shouted... Would have shit me up
  3. The cart looks really nice and stable. I did one with my eldest for a recent race at his school. No plans and just what I had lying around the place. It was quick but unstable. Next year it will be box framing and bike wheels I think
  4. I've never seen or heard anything that I wasn't relatively sure I could explain away. The house we live in was built just after Waterloo and I would imagine that dozens of people will have died here since that time. I neither believe nor don't but I'm glad I've never seen anything. That said my eldest announced that he had seen a bloke on the landing the other night, that then disappeared down the stairs. All dressed in black, after checking the house, which I knew would be clear as they would of had to walk past both dogs. I asked him to describe what he saw. Half expecting a description
  5. To add... Constant use of the word 'journey' on TV winds me up. And everyone in the reality shows using 'I love you' in every other sentence..
  6. Another vote for lush Also people using the word sick when something is good
  7. Certainly not putting the swerving of compensation past him or any of his ilk. Just offering an alternative explanation of why someone older may transfer wealth. As I said before I've not followed the case other than the odd news snapshot so don't have an opinion on guilt or otherwise
  8. The exact same rules apply to both public and posh people. It's just the tax law, the 7 years is just in place to stop people at deaths door quickly signing it over. Plenty of normal people do similar
  9. Don't agree mate , my thoughts are if he has nothing , the chance of anyone suing him for compensation is a non starter . Like I said, I don't know anything about the case. It's just that the transfer of wealth 7 years prior to death is a fairly common way to avoid inheritance tax
  10. Don't know anything about the case really but I would have thought the reason he signed all his wealth over to his family is more likely to be due to inheritance tax. if he lives for over 7 years after signing it over the family will not pay inheritance tax on it. It's not likely to be because of fear of payouts
  11. I completely agree in principle. But of those two scenarios, which is more likely? LOL The badgers protection will never be lifted to put it on the same level as the fox. Likely is a strong word, I don't think it's likely. Less costly though if the gov could get sufficient support to get it through
  12. Forget the cull being rolled out nationwide, just lift the protected status and let farmers sort their own pest control out
  13. The spider dog one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4-maE2-wDjs
  14. That's a good one. The spider dog one is pretty good as well
  15. Little belters mate. Hopefully you'll have a lot of fun with them
  16. A bit of overkill I suppose but at least he won't have suffered
  17. '7 out of 8 of the dogs rescued by the RSPCA have been rehomed' I'm calling bullshit on that one, to the big pet home in the sky maybe
  18. Very very cool... But I have a sneaking suspicion that I would wreck that
  19. When you say tested do you mean as a stud? I would say 18 months is a bit old to be be starting out as a stud, if you had of started him at 10months think of all the ££££s you could've already made!
  20. I will message him and see if he can send me some
  21. Good video, A lot of fun to be had controlling rats
  22. If you know someone who smokes give it away quickly or Fill packet with water and than bin it, Having it lying would too much of a temptation for me
