  1. Be interesting to know the stats on how many people get killed per year by mini buses verses the number killed by legally owned guns (non suicides)
  2. Some stunning pics on this thread!. Most of these taken on the same morning
  3. That's 2 down. It worries me that the death of two terrorists hits the news.. It suggests that that it's a rare ocurance when they really should be getting mown wholesale
  4. I guess it's because short of winning the lottery, many of the younger guys can only dream about owning a house, let alone paying off the parents mortgage. That's bollocks. If you want something enough, make it happen. There was a thread in here recently with people boasting of spending £250+ on a night out. Less drink drugs video games and 'trendy' clothes, more saving. Have a deposit saved up in no time... Absolutely. Hear it a lot, people saying they can't afford a house, when what they mean is they can't afford the lifestyle they think they are entitled to. It's harder for this generatio
  5. I never give to them these days. There are enough state funded things available to people who are genuinely having a bad run of it that I don't feel the need to help someone who basically chooses that way of life Edited to add: if you went up to them and offered them full time manual work and lodgings most would tell you to f**k off IMO
  6. Reminded me of that billy Connelly sketch... "In the highly unlikely event of something happening, we will go into the ground like a fcuking dart. The life jackets will make no difference whatsoever but when archeologists find the wreckage in 200 years, they will think there used to be a river here"
  7. Flying in itself isn't a problem.. It's colliding with the ground you want to worry about!
  8. Done 500 plus mile round trip to South Wales in a morning for a pup for someone else
  9. First one is a good one. Just wish it were true, father in laws a right chocolate fire guard but the wife still managed to turn into a right diva
  10. looked like I watched that first round through my fingers the first time, said to my mate they need to stop this and he needs to hang em up,luckily i was very wrong. this is a good example of why thai boxing is better than boxing now. the fighters have the opportunity to show how much heart they have, even without elbows opening up the back of his head there is no way that would be allowed in modern boxing. I've seen him perform much better but it was the first one I got to on you tube and couldn't be chewed searching for others lol
  11. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fwx1GcuN10s Lad in the black shorts is a mate of mine. It must have taken a fair amount of grit to turn it around after the first round where he looked like he was getting his arse handed to him
  12. Canada, NZ or Aus. Quite like the idea of one of the islands off the west coast of Scotland or even the mainland coast line as something I may do in a couple of years
  13. Anyone from Scotland seen the named person law/rule/thing that the SNP are trying to bring in? I don't know the details but it's where the state assign a social worker to each child that then has the power to over rule the parents in decisions relating to the child. Will be bad news for all parents if the weirdos manage to stealth it through
  14. Bet if they do end up filming out there security will be tighter than a ducks arse. Imagine the propaganda for Isis if they managed to capture john Rambo
  15. Pretty sure that on several occasions through that fight it appeared to be tucking something back into them denim shorts
  16. Deer stalking I think. Not sure about the hounds Edited to add: pheasant as well
  17. Spot on!DC supports hunting but most likely knows that a vote for a complete overturn won't end in a positive result. Any move in this direction is a bonus. The anti/pro hunting argument is one that will out live all of us, there will never be an easy resolution to it so we need to expect only small victories as a best case scenario. Worse case is labour get in again and manage to put further nails in the coffin of field sports may well be a worse case for you, I don't follow hounds much, I do keep lurchers and hunt rabbits. Before ban tho I enjoyed a day coursing with lurchers, okay d
