  1. That is fecking brilliant and a great thing for the local wildlife Have you ever seen any grass snakes around it? With that many frogs it'd be a real tempting food source for them. I've never seen any no which is a shame. Theres a few large water nature reserves around the village so summer time becomes madness with the frogs especially sat out on the roads
  2. I think it has a liner of some sort buried under all the mud etc on some of it and I couldn't say about the rest. We've only had the house a couple of years but up until about 5 years ago it was twice the size until the previous owner sold the plot next door and filled in half of it to build the boundary wall. It's always got enough water in it as well but the roof of the buildings a reasonable surface area which is draining in there.
  3. Was going to suggest the series. Peaky Blinders, Breaking bad, Narcos, Sons of Anachy, Better Call Saul (watch after Breaking bad) are all good. We finished watching Prison Break at 2 last night which i'd seen some of when they first came out but being able to watch them back to back on Netflix is better as it's easier to follow the story than when it first came out and you had to wait a week for the next one I finished Breaking Bad just before xmas i really enjoyed it......ready for another one now and its a toss up between Sons of Anarchy,Prison Break or Dexter ?.......ive watched a few
  4. Spring time in the pond... http://vid1134.photobucket.com/albums/m606/lapin2008/10000754_10151929073915877_1120353786_n_zpspegkvkao.mp4
  5. Great project and really worthwhile as well! Our own pond is only relatively small, at around 12ft X 18ft maybe. It's been established a while and is always teaming with newts, frogs and various other bits and bats. Best in the spring when there are hundreds of frogs croaking away with their heads popping out. If you approach it they go mental thrashing around trying to under the water. Its topped up by water from the roof/guttering that runs off an agricultural building that I have close by. Duck weeds a b*****d mind!

  8. Mr Cuban that was and he reckoned it was a toy poodle.Thats the one, wonder what happened to him... and the dogAs he never came back on I assumed he crashed and burned,I got myself a labradoodle pup to try out,3/4 mini poodle x 1/4 lab, but I'm keeping stum incase it don't work out.lol Better safe than sorry mate....although most dogs of that breeding excel, at everything... so the outcome is pretty safe... pretty much odds on favourite to become the bestest dog in the whole of 2016.. globally! or at the very least, easily the best in the country! It's a smart tyke ,though she started rumbli

  11. Crofty 'the off-liner' and the missing pet rabbits TB two weeks The disabled guy fight in tescos All classics.. The ultimate busher thread was a beauty... The lad with a poodle looking thing that was going to be trained into a bushing machine... Another belter!
  12. Suppose it depends what you want it for mate. I like wax jackets and have had a couple of barbour ones in the last two years. Can't argue with the quality of them but both have been slim fitted types that you wouldn't get much in the pockets but I use then for work. I have a cheap £35 job for the countryside with bigger pockets
  13. Been a sprinkling on the tops in the dales. Non lower down and it looked pretty clear tonight. Ground is frozen though so if it snows later on it will settle
  14. Mine hasn't worked in about ten years. She was a teacher before but jacked it in a couple of years before our first was born. The kids are both at school and have been for a few years now so hypertherically she could get something part time now and still manage to be there when the kids need her. Think that ship has sailed though now and she's got too used to faffing around all day with her friends drinking lattes etc
  15. So have you had your certs revoked in the past? Unless they have previously be taken because of partners problems. Far as I know it wouldn't even come out in the application. You're the cert holder, key holder so the checks with doctor are against you not anyone you live with
  16. Why not take him out with the young one and just alternate runs or give him 1 run for every 2 the other gets
  17. cheers mate, yeah should do ok! hope uncle banjo will be teaching one of the pups a few tricks when you go out.. Haha am sure he will mate but hopefully not too much as dropped me right in it today with an unauthorised, midday massacre!
  18. They're looking really good mate, nice and chunky. Should make really good dogs.
  19. Any pic,s mate. Cep http://www.wildmushroomsonline.co.uk/Identifying-Edible-Mushrooms-The-Cep/index.php Orange birch bolete http://www.first-nature.com/fungi/leccinum-versipelle.php Both look pretty similar as they're both part of the same family. Both are really tasty. OBB is found around birch trees and has a more orange tint to it. As the other lad said field mushrooms are another commonly found easy to recognise one
  20. Better to stick with just a few of the common ones that are good eating like the cepe and birch bolete. They are pretty distinctive once you've figured them out. I was brought up around it with my mum and grandad knowing loads more good ones but I tend not to piss about and take chances with more obscure ones. Most of what I find round here are orange birch bolete or cepe anyway
  21. Course it's not too late in your thirties. About the certs. Sounds like they are taking the piss... The skills and qualifications are yours. The certs in anyone else's hands other than yours mean nothing. To my mind they have no right to hold them as they are restricting your ability to 'ply your craft' which is not allowed. Is there a governing body that issued the qualifications/certs contact them direct and explain what your company has done and ask them to reissue to yourself. They may charge you an admin fee or something though. If they can't see if there is a union you can sign up f
  22. I can't believe the people they are placing in these roles it's like they are trying to make themselves unelectable.... PERFECT!
  23. Wow what an article!! '4th biggest crime!!!' Really! 'The sums of money are huge' am I missing something? Are they talking about the huge sums of money made from selling the odd scabby hare? Bet they are using the sums of money from rhino horns etc to justify coming out with that bollocks
  24. This has to be my all time best road rage clip https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AIBp-xnXv74
