    from my experience, not many single handed fox dogs out their that last more then 2 seasons worked hard. Their not rifles, their dogs!

    I have heard vets stopped giving metacam to dogs recently for this reason and that it will be taken off the market, not sure how true this is, just what a vet told to me a while ago.

    Worked in one, Baxters at the time, back in 1986. Pigs would be watching as their mates got slit, they screamed like f**k and would have to be dragged to get slaughtered, sometimes with very cruel ways! Only lasted a couple of weeks, as the head slaughter man was very odd and kept saying, ''would love to do this to a young bitch''!! Scarey places them days! Hope in this day and age, its better?

    i find usually 2 weeks before the birth, if its a real pregnancy, she will loose all her winter coat rapidly, coming out in handfulls. if its a phantom pregnancy, she will loos the coat slowly.

    i leave mine for 2 to 3 weeks and then take a peak, depneding how well you know your doe ferret. some can be funny, especially if you dont handle her often enough.

    funny how one litter can be big next season then their only few kits. my doe only had 2 kits last year she has 14 now. she had them their 2 weeks ago, they seem to be all still their. good luck with your kits.

    had my lad down the other evening by the sea and he caught a small pollock, he was over the moon great to see them doing that rather then messing on the xbox.
