  1. Great ,,nice offer when you dropping them off? You feeding a Loin Tomo? Well done tjones and dogs.
  2. They distroy saluki saturated dogs mentally and worse pure saluki! Few years ago, i lost a pure saluki for days, he was never the same after the shock off the fence! Hate them!
  3. Great clip i thought below, looks in our eyes prehaps cruel, but, that is how it is in the wild. Watch how the wolves surround the moose cow and her calf constantly, relentless ans persistent! Amazing to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b3py1xa8p0
  4. That is some lurcher mate, well done again, he is a lucky dog to be with you D.
  5. cheers phil. he was jest to nice of a dog to put down and gets a few bunnys I totally understand, would have done the same thing myself, well done, keep up the good work.
  6. I think, 90% or more dog men would of put that 3 leged lurcher down, just goes to show, when you give them a chance, they still abale to perform, amazing dogs lurchers, fair lay to you mate for sticking by him, the results show it all.
  7. try telling that to my old dog, he was the best behaved dog ever...... Except around chocolate he once polished off a kilo and a half of Cadbury's finest In one sitting and still lived to 14-15. Caught the tw@t with chocolate all over his white face like a naughty schoolboy RIP Coops Some, not all, tolerate choclate more than others. it could of gone either way, he was a lucky dog. Majority of dogs will get poisoned by it. I know it was an accident what happned to your dog, but for those reading and dont know, be very carefull.
  8. Pup did very well and good shooting, nice buck.
  9. Very true. I also worked with them many years ago. However, their is the odd ones, out in the desert that are not too bad, as i hunted with them and their salukis. They got to know me after a while well and gifted me a saluki of my choice. Pity i could not bring it back into the uk as she was a demon on many things.
  10. lol no one has said if thay look alike yet? I agree though about leaving their kids alone like that. However, this topic is to see if anyone thinks they look the same? My wife thinks they dont, but i do.
  11. My wife goit me to watch the game of thones the other evening, watching it, i thought the queen in it looked very much like Kate Mc Can lol as seen below, what do you think?
  12. Personally, from passed experince, i would not work her till she is back to normal, then slowly get her fit again, takes about a month or so. She will also have fat around the heart ect, which could be detrimental to her health if ran hard. If you PM skycat on here, she will tell you exactly what happens and when she can be ran.
  13. 3 months old now and she is growing and learning well.

  17. Great photo socks, how did you find it, working with german shepherds? I found the shepherds out of all the dogs the most reliable and able ... Rotties can't easily do obstacle work and burn out fairly quickly on intense exercise and Belgian shepherds just don't have an off switch and are easily distracted if they are not kept busy ... I did do a bit of work with a giant schnauzer and that was a very capable dog ...... Thank you Socks. I find the same myself. A friend has a belgian shepherd as well and its a drug/ security dog, its mad as a box of frogs, but full on when working. Go

  22. Happens to a lot of lurchers over time. I have found some stay soft mouth for years then all of a sudden go hard mouth instantly. Some are hard mouthed from the start. I also think it really has nothing to do with some of them taking foxes pre-ban as some people say. Once they turn hard mouthed, they wont go back, just the way it is in my opinion. It also all depends what you prefer, however, if a dog is catching well and has a high catch rate ect, it would be a pity, in my opinion, to move it on just for that, as a lot do. !
