  1. What ever you do stay well clear of the nikko stirling mountmaster range, they're really fragile and I went through two on my airguns within a week. Although to gameking ones are really good quality for money
  2. Cheers, as I bought it second hand the gunshop owner said that if it is wrapped up in good condition it will still retain its value well. So I can px it for a shotgun when I get my certificate
  3. The same gun in .45-70 cost £975 in UK, equivalent to €1233
  4. Either choose the file and then attach it or if it is too big then change the quality
  5. I went for a 1 hour walk with my air rifle on one of my dads friends land which is about 3 minutes away from my house, there is usually lots of rabbits about but as the cover crop has grown up above knee height it is very difficult to spot them. I went across the upper fields (where the cover crop is) and saw nothing other than pheasants and partridges. But as I was waking down the path which runs through the land I saw an adult rabbit sat grazing oblivious to me or much else, as I slowly walked up I noticed a pheasant sat near it ignoring me too, it had cut tail feathers so I assume it's one
  6. I'm left eye dominant and right handed, and I shoot off my left shoulder, it helps because then I've got my stronger right arm to swing the gun with
  7. I generally leave them, unless it's magpies then I'll shoot the adult an go get a long stick and knock the nest out of the tree
  8. Barnstaple with worms on the estuary when the morning tide comes in, lots of eels
  9. That's great! Do you get the foxes yourself?
  10. The majority of large game would be in the lower part of France and into Germany ect where it's much more wooded
  11. Good shooting! Do you give them to your dog to eat or dispose of them?
  12. You can get sound moderator adapters from ebay
  13. When you put the lights in you could cut a small thin indentation up towards the part where the bulb will be to hide the wire then paint it, as it might look tacky if there are wires hanging from it, just a thought. Good luck
  14. But neither of my parents are quite as enthusiastic at shooting as I am, probably have to stick with the air rifle for the time being
  15. I've got a shotgun instructor up the road and I regularly go to basc events in which there is quite a bit of clay shooting
  16. It is a cheap synthetic air rifle which I doubt is particularly good quality although baikal do well made shotguns. I wouldn't buy it because you could go and get an airgun twice as good at the same price, it's £59.99 in sportman gun centre so if you do feel the urge to buy one then you could get a brand new one from there http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/product/9752b2ba57ac057937460276/Baikal+IZH60+-a-8-f-3177+Standard+Barrel/
  17. So I couldn't go to the gunshop with my certificate and also an adult which doesn't have a certificate and buy shotgun/cartridges?
  18. Bit of filing to make the bits you intend to join rough then epoxy resin?
  19. Thanks for the advice all , I'll look into making one of the clam traps I've seen them but haven't thought of making one though
