  1. You will get one from Chambers gunspares
  2. Had mine done twice 12" and 14", cost around £60, i would think about maybe going shorter than 16" as its still quite long with the mod on and the extra length seves no purpose in a rimmie.
  3. Minox are cracking binos for the money, think they do apocket size, 8x25?
  4. Seems a bit strange taking the risk of poaching with a 243 and not even picking up what you shot, and f***ing about with rabbits too?
  5. You could try the range at steve smiths clay ground or Thorn dell at Bishop middleham, they have a HFT course to practise on.
  6. Fallkniven F1 sounds about right for your needs, cracking knives.
  7. CZ American (light barrel) in a boyds forest camo stock, 14" barrel, Sak mod, yo dave trigger kit fitted, 10 round plastic mag, mounts (scope not included in price). This little rifle is in very good nick, nice bluing and has seen very little use since i fitted the stock and had the barrel chopped, stock is as new, mod is barely used. £325 face to face please, must have relevant slots on FAC too or a possible trade for a decent 12 bore. cheers
  8. scaffold boards on mine too, smarter job would be decking planks or sleepers if its in the garden though.
  9. That will do fine, mine has a 2.5-10 x42 Tasco on it, no need for anything fancy its a yard or so rifle.
  10. i have minox 8x42s, they are very good, lad i go out with has Steiner and they are spot on too.
  11. Thats a crackng set up, like the pond
  12. I never post on these threads but the dog should be pts as said, if it cannot be trusted round kids or dogs and comes from a pet home what use is it? Too much passing problems on and not enough people willing to do whats necessary at times.
  13. Got to disagree here mate, there are bad dogs, seen them with my own eyes sometimes the owner did not make the dog that way but they are still to blame if they ignore the signs. Its a crock of shit when a dog rips someone apart and the owners says " He was always as gentle as a lamb" , the signs are there, you just have to have the sense to do something about them.
  14. There are some right arseholes that own dangerous dogs, not just bull breeds, and they will ignore all the signs that the dog is a wrong un. Likely they made the dog that way but no matter how many people say blame the owner you do get dogs that are just plain nasty, same as some people. seen some with my own eyes and they are scary, a dog that will set about a person the way it would another dog. The owners should be jailed, the signs are there and they ignored them 99% of the time.
  15. Try mcleods of tain, always have a lot of scopes in. http://www.rmacleod.co.uk/
  16. Get yourself a thumbhole laminate from boyds, mine came in a week and was around £120 all in.
  17. Is it like Easi-Bed? Little bits of wood? Used that but did not rate it, the dogs seemed uncomfortable, constantly digging in it. cheers
  18. gnash = i think we`ve had this coversation before but did a few of the frankhams fight pro -- were they norfolk way .. I seem to remember he was from Reading or Bracknell somewhere along the m4 there i think they ended up near Newmarket races there was a few brothers last i heard Bobby was on a murder charge so obviously life didnt turn out too well which is a shame. That a new charge? I remember him and his brothers up on attempted murder at a wake/funeral a few years ago, they walked on that one.
  19. Got the same rifle here, mine is new and dieselled quite a bit at first, its settling down now and is very accurate and nice too shoot with superdomes, 11ftlb plus through the chrono. The trigger is very light though and its very hard to cock for a 12ftlb springer, lovely build quality and looks, prefer it to the HW95 and TX200HC i had.
  20. Superdomes in the one i had, shot nicely at 11 ftlb, the bismags only made 9 ftlb
  21. Think your vet is obliged to give you a prescription if that is what he has prescribed, no obligation to buy from him.
  22. Well i have just bought a one month old 280k for £160 so i will find out soon enough, the review i read said the trigger was very good mind.
  23. Anyone got one? What do you think? Nice looking little rifle
