  1. Not the exact one I want no. I'm going to have to ring about
  2. Want to be a 100% on this or I'll just go back to the viper. I'm 50/50 at the moment
  3. Anyone got one of these? Un decided what I want, last time on my old rifle I had the viper 10x44 and it was awesome! Think I just fancy something different. I only use fixed zoom scopes with side focus, ideal for me for range finding and hunting. Got a cheap one on at min but not my cup of tea Cheers, chris
  4. Pcp in my eyes is the ultimate air rifle, don't get me wrong I love springers as it's what I have been brought up on. No denying how good a pre charge rifle can be. Do some research first before buying one though
  5. Total poo no difference at all between multi shot and single. Maybe the quick loading cycle causing people to rush shots? Either way it's total tosh and down the the shooter. I'm using the s400 for pure hunting. It's single shot for now but ordering rowan multi shot conversion end of the month. It's personal preference, I would go into the gun shop and hold them all and see what feels the most comfortable, I've lost count of times I've bought rifles after all the hype and hated them one I've held one. Chris
  6. 177 for me best all rounder and easier to shoot at any range.
  7. Never hear of a hw100 to go wrong, I've had one and loved it (doubt anything will beat it) My s400 is accurate though and can get sub quarter inch groups at 35yards. That was with hw100kt 177 at 35 yards and approx 10mph wind. Snatched one and it's 5 shots 2 went thru same hole
  8. Personally never ever had a problem with a gun. Most time it's just seals which can be a DIY job depending if your handy. Warrenty normally only a year and most gun go wrong in the first year
  9. You can get good buys second hand. Try gunstar and freeads. Always turn up bargains for me
  10. Oh I've had all 3. R10 mk2, hw100kt, now air arms s400. Hw and air arms both very good rifles. If you have the money go for the hw100.
  11. 3-9 would do it but no harm with more mag. I always shoot on a fixed mag anyway. I see which mag the milldot is is exactly aligned with at my zero range of 35yds then keep it fixed. Less margin for error at longer ranges
  12. Air arms field seem to work well in all my rifles 4.52
  13. I had the kt in 177 with a and m cylinder. Got 85 full power shots. Very point able, quiet balanced and deadly accurate. This rifle is clinical best way to put it and I'll be getting another one day. Although I now have an air arms that I love, the hw100 would match any air rifle on the market today, engineering quality is second to none
  14. I'll drop them an email thanks a lot for that, I'll have to get one especially if it's quieter than hw100
  15. My old r10 177, got a hw100kt after that. Now on the s400
  16. I've had one and got rid 2 weeks later. Not well balanced ie front heavy oh and loud. If you do decide on one go for FSB and silenced. Good points it was accurate to be fair and shot count was quite high! Hope that helps, some people love them and it may suit your shooting style? Go and hold one first see what you think
  17. Maybe end of the month mate as I'm working away until then. Just wanting to see what people were using.
  18. Looking to stick a good quality silencer on my s400 that's whisper quiet, My old hw100 had an awesome silencer that I never needed to change. Any help or suggestions please people.
  19. This due to cheaper parts on daystates or are they now being made else ware? I agree with what is said. Older daystates were something special.
  20. I will buy a a&m cylinder ,I have one on my HW100kt.22. I agree the old Huntsman is by far better than the crap Regal .My shooting mate has a S410 and he had a reg put in it ,good gun but even better with a reg May go for the reg eventually when a major service required. My last setup I sold on, super piece of kit
  21. Very impressive for a springer, I've just sold my tx200mk 3, no way I could match that at that range unless it was pcp and very calm.
  22. Yes it can affect zero doubt much if any to fps
  23. There is an sultry for sale one gunstar now which had been tune, tech reg fitted, quick fill and in bottle gauge. 350 Ono
  24. Air arms is lighter and as for shot count when do you shoot more than 60-70 rabbits in an outing? If it's a pure hunting rifle air arms are a worth while buy. Either that or a hw100k I've had both and there ability far exceeds mine. I have been shooting for 15 years . Furthest shot with 100 was approx 65-70 yards. Very calm day, maybe a bit luck had to play. Doubt ill ever beat that Light, balanced and accurate more important to me rather than shot count.
