  3. That's horrible, l don't know the people involved but l know the pain of loosing a much loved companion in the field. At least, as you say ''..doing what they loved..'' and quick, but heartbreaking, nonetheless RIP dogs and condolences to the lads involved
  4. thanks , l guess you are right, what l mean is that to me, a luioprcher is a x between a sighthound and a dog, so a x between a lurcher and a dog is no longer a lurcher but a dog? the pup looks like she is going to have her Sire's proportions so she's definatly more lurcher to me
  5. Hi everyone, l'm new to this forum, though not new to the life by any means. Anyway, my brother has just purchased a cracking little pup, Sire is a lurcher, a stunning 3/4 grey, with a bit of collie and bull, a really smashing daytime dog and handsome as they come. The Dam is a border collie. anyway, l was wondering, is a pup from a lurcher, even a high sighthound content lurcher x with a dog a lurcher or 'just' a dog? l'm just curious, the pup is bright as they come, chasing everything that moves and very bold, she certainly shows a lot of promise so l can't wait to see how sh
