It's 300 acres spread out over various fields on the farm woodland running along the top of the farm , I believe he has lightly ploughed and spread the seeds allready he grows various organic crops, have run my dog on the land for ages and there is always vermin around the farm , just didn't know how much the plough would affect it.   2. Hi all, heading over my perm on Sunday, gave the land owner a call to let him know and I was informed it's just been ploughed , anyone got any experience shooting on ploughed land? Not long had the rifle but spent the last 2 months on the targets everyday making sure I can get the clean kill. Atb . Tom

Hi guys just bought a second hand .22 springer and sight is really off the mark and I'm dubious about doing it myself as I haven't done one before and don't want to cock it up , with the centre of crosshairs lined up on the centre of the target and it's hitting top left corner of the target paper at 28 yards , do I give it a go or get someone with more experience to do it for me ? Advice greatly appreciated . Atb , Tom
  4. Hi lads dogs got really cold ears at the minute and is not himself , just spent all day sleeping and is very grumpy , gone off his food. Any ideas? Atb Tom
  5. Mines a saluki x grey , great dog loads of pace and will just keep going , stands at 26tts and very doubt he will get much bigger, suits me fine.
  6. My dogs shaping up well, plenty of game near me only gotta walk 5 minutes and your tripping over deer , hair , rabbits and foxes. Looking forward to it.

Mine is primarily a family dog, but I got a lurcher so I can work him and the hole kill it cook it eat it really appeals to me being a chef but if he turned out to be naf at working or injured himself working he would stay with me till his final day but I would get another one to work. Everyone is different though I have friends that own theirs as work tools and doesn't bother me.

Hi all my dogs got yellow pussy spots on his chest he's a year old in a week and a saluki x grey , wanted a bit of advice first , he's booked into vets on Tuesday , he's ok in himself not scratching is eating fine and still acting like a lunatic but he had slight red markings on his chest last night but seem to have gone a bit yellow and pussy looking, he was wormed with dontral a week ago and was de fleas a few days ago haven't got any pics as iPod cameras rubbish and my dslr is with father in law. Any insight would be greatly appreciated . Atb Tom

Names Tom I live on the radstock,Somerset border and I'm into lurcher work , got saluki x grey who's a year old next week mainly just mooching and lamping with him.   16. deff a NO never have a woman name on your body, maybe your mom / dad /kids, but never your mrs. I know couple lads who got divorced , and got there x wife's name on there arm etc. and there new wife don't+didnt like it one bit lol. no women's names never Couldn't agree more my mums made that mistake a few times and every time 6 months or so later they split up!
  17. Hi all got a saluki x grey that's 11 months old and comes for part of my run with me 4 days a week he does 4 miles and I carry on for another 1 or 2 laps is it possible in the right conditions and the right training he could manage 8 miles plus just trotting? Atb Tom
  18. Got married 3 and a half years ago and I'm not a jewelry person but after getting used to it for a month I hate taking it off feels like a limb missing. Give it a bash to keep her happy and you will probably get used to it.

  20. Mostly the she beasts I used to wake up to on a Saturday morning! Man I had literally one requirement after a few beers and that was that they had a pulse , going at it with a heffa of a woman one night and chundered all over her , safe to say she didn't let me stay after that!
  21. As tittle says really , got a longdog with plenty of stamina and speed and fancied seeing how he gets on, anybody know of any places that do it, don't mind traveling a bit. Atb Tom
