  1. Nope. Perhaps. The 100 will need a hole for a fore end sling stud. I think it's the same for the bi mate.
  2. Apart from .25... It's wank unless spat out on a ticket
  3. Nice shooting, nice set up.
  4. A calibre you can hit the kill zone with every time.... Both are as good as each other man, hit the zone and the target will drop. 177 has a flatter trajectory, and is perhaps more 'forgiving' with distances, but the 22 hits harder. It's that simple.
  5. Ha. Aannooottthhheerrr debate about HC's or 97's...... For. God. Sake
  6. How much do you want for this specimen?! Name your price. Shit. I shoot left handed. Did they ever make a left handed stoke?
  7. I do know what you mean man. Being a left hander, I actually find it a mission to load a TX, a few at the club, also make a racket sound at the end of the cocking stroke, but they are sweet and on the money. I have a 97KT with a V-Mach kit installed and it was the right choice for me. Super super rifle, when we both on the same song sheet.
  8. Do it. It will not be a decision you regret. You have some decent PCP's, it'll only add to the collection.
  9. Mate. This isn't a dig at all, but a quick research would show that TX's are perhaps, other than the HW range, theeee best spring rifles you can buy in a sporting sense and well worth the money. No need to say anymore. I dont know whether your being serious or not........
  10. Get one man. Evvverrryyyoooonnnnesssss got a 100 though. Cant be a bad thing. If your a dead shot with your 95, the 100 will be a walk in the park on a very warm and pleasant day
  11. All thoughts are welcome. I do know its what I was doing, just bloodeh annoying. Ill get back out this weekend and hopefully pick up the art again. James. Over at Waddington mate. Somertongate Lane. You'll find um on fb. Thanks all. As an edit* SImon. I had just picked up a new batch of FTT's... hmm.
  12. As an extra, how accurate is it? Are we talking 1/2 inch at normal range? I'm toying with px'ing my SE and 97 for one at the weekend.
  13. Getting one Yeah, I can kinda see all the points mentioned just from the 5 mins I spent with it. Unsure why, but the fact it caters for a lefty is great. I do like the new R10 super carbine, but cost and, I think no ambi version is annoying. This reminds me of one. It's does look ok, the chunky fore end is a delight to hold. Mrs says the same thing. The bolt action also looks and feels the bomb, like a raider in a way. Hardly any reviews online at the moment. Tempted.
  14. Just got back from the local HFT course. Didn't go on it tonight, took the SE and 97 and stayed on the range. Shot like a tit too, got the SE sorted for a new zero range. Sound. Easy. Picked up the 97 and my groups were at best inch to an inch and a half. Annoyingly, and I'm wondering if this happens to others... I began changing my hold, stance, follow through, everything, as you do, but the groups wouldn't tighten. I know it's me and not the rifle, am I just having an off day? To these exist? I know they do, I just want to feel better about what was an awful nights shooting. When the
  15. Keep it. You'll regret it if it goes. Rifles can pull on the heart strings, especially if it's worth a quick tune and refurb. Just save for another HW. My two pence.
  16. Whats these Rotex R8's like? Anyone used, got one? Quite like them, just held one at local shop. Fits nice. Stocks a bit of a car crash from the side, but makes up for it when being held. Cheap. I hope this isn't a bad sign.
  17. Ha. God knows. Good luck with it all and keep us updated.
  18. Put some in then The spring doesn't travel as much then. Sorry, at work, skim read it.
  19. I stuck 2 washers in both my HW's and the 98 was a tad hot early on but has settled to a 11.2. My 97 is set at 10.9-11 again, with the 2 washers.
  20. There aren't any that exist mate, there is a chap on facebook that makes them custom, Mr Pittaways got one on his SFS 98, cant remember the name, but someone of the THL will know. If you want a standard of the self mod you'll need to get the barrel threaded and crowned properly for 1/2 UNF. I was gonna do it for mine, and add a ASE or Wildcat, but cant risk loosing its accuracy due to custom barrel work... Id be gutted. It would also add to much weight muzzle end too and screw up what is a well balanced set up. There is the possibility of getting a mod with a 20mm over barrel shroud, but w
  21. "Hi can anyone put any metal detecting my way .I have land but looking for something different pasture woodland ect .im from a background of farming through my family who own a few farms and also have many references thanks"
  22. Prostaff for the win Have one, the same one as it happens as yourself... I dont find them as good as the WTC but we both have different eyes. Your gonna have to test a few buster.
  23. You get what you pay for and I don't rate hawke. You will find a WTC on the bay for about £-£90 +1 It will be worth it if you want the low light clarity. I actually dont think theres glass like the WTC for low light shooting below 200 quid. It set the standard and has been round yarz.
  24. Simmons Whitetail Classic 3.5 - 10 x 50... if you can get one. Granite finish looks the bomb on any set up.
  25. Can a left hander shoot it?
