  1. The 17 still for sale donnyc, I've only briefly read your post. As an edit, I mean the ambi mk1 and where about are you North Essex? Pm me if it's best mate. Thanks man.
  2. You and that 410 man. Makes me want one. What's its setup?
  3. Great post matt. I thought, having thought about selling my 97... My 97. Ain't sold it yet though. And my scorpion. Funnily enough your post comes about when I'm considering clearing out, apart from the 98. And I'm so glad I've changed my mind... I do think some shit sometimes (no need for any comments there) I'm guessing all of us do re the rifles in the cupboard, 'wish I had that, don't get on with that' etc... So I've just bought a new stock for the SE. Get it on a pod and f*ck you 100's. I'll bash the arse of just as many rabbits. Yep, bin pub. Safe.
  4. Looks dog. Doesn't work as well as the 97. Kinda going off synthetics. Didn't think they would do this to be honest, especially with how popular the 100 is as is. Not really a big fan of the R10 synth either. I was, but the traditional always prevails.
  5. Had a go with a LGU this evening and my god I can what the fuss is about. Smooth isn't even close. It's like butter. Really. Proper pro sport territory. If the LGU is oat to go by, the R8 is very highly worth a look. It would be well on my list if I was after a PCP. .177 please.
  6. Considering a Concept Elite S6............ Dishing in my 97 and Scorpion for it.
  7. Might have to get one. And where will I find the mounts for such a piece? As an edit, to go round a 30mm tube on my MTC.
  8. Where you finding the sweet spot mac? And what pressure do you fill too?
  9. What's the light on the top of your mates set up mate?
  10. Great story and images mate. It's good to see a bit of old skool pigeon decoying instead of the standard 10,000 mil dot long distance rabbit bashing. Nice one.
  11. Shame no one knows just yet, however, had a go with one of these at the club this evening and there bloody lovely. A slim lady in .22 that I thought was indeed the dogs bollox.
  12. Sorted. It was the stock lug being far to tight and this created a slight bend in the bear trap rail near the trigger unit, which when forced crunched into place creating the anti bear guard function with the trigger. A few shots and it's smooth again, slight clunk sound. Thankful to the help chaps.
  13. Cheers lads. I'll have a go tonight with it all.
  14. Aaannnnoooottthhhhheeerrrr 100. Mint. It's gonna be sound mate. Good choice. Nice to see one without the thumb hole carpentry.
  15. Hi all. I've come across a worry, problem, issue, whatever it might be with my 97kt. It's currently a v-Mach 97, originally a kt, but now has the wooden 'k' sported stock. The v-Mach spring etc was installed by myself to what I thought was good effect. My 98 was done the same way and that performs flawlessly. The only difference is I didn't install the tin cover around the spring on my 98 but did on my 97. It's not called a tin cover, I'm not sure on the actual name, but it's comes with the v-Mach kit. Everyone with them will know what I mean. Anyway. On the last part of the cocking ac
  16. Maybe the wrong forum, not quite a story, but the post will relate well in this one... How do members find the game bags vary with the seasons... Rabbits in the summer, squirrels in the autumn etc...? I'm finding that now the nights are unfortunately drawing in, rabbits are less out and about within reason, but the pigeons and tree rats are easier to see in the branches as the leaves are falling of the trees. Do we find that most game taken during the colder months are feathered? How do you adjust your target species thought out the year?
  17. Blizzard looks like a gay version of a Walther R8, Flacon Prairie and a wanna-be 100. Windy is a DS ranger/airwolf with the same 100 action. Nice looking but always playing catch up. Unless a member owns either and can bring more to the table.
  18. BSA Scorpion SE walnut stock, the ambi version. Very happy to consider some custom examples if there left handed.
  19. There something to you post mate... I know the 'feeling'. My 98 has a long'ish barrel and it sowa damn precise. The 97 isn't as 'clinical' I would say. But I dont think its due to barrel length, perhaps more calibre.
  20. Just re listing as its still for sale. Had someone interested but didn't turn up to view it for some reason. Happy to post. I'm looking for £100.00 for it. It cost me £189.00 from Uttings about 5 months ago. Comes with everything in the images. Box, bag, manuals, caps, + 2 batteries. Apologies for the images being upside down.
