Good god mate, shame that, especially when you've got your hopes up for the day ahead.Hopefully next week will make up for things eh! I've got a long weekend pencilled in mid feb for going away, only trouble is ive got to persuade our Doris to head back up to the Lakes! haha.... watch this space! I was thinking about heading down to Rutland and having a run out with the Cottesmore, half the trip compared to reaching the lakes from here. In all hoenesty, I'd much sooner be stomping it out over those fells (albeit blowing out my arse) and taking those views in. Nothing better in my book.

Looks fine mate if you click on the image.Agreed, fog can be nightmare up there. I had a bad do with it on striding edge once, on my own early one morning. There's a scramble after you come off the ridge and i lost sense of direction... ended up on the inside of the horse shoe, clinging on for dear life! LOL Is that Ullswater country country bye the way? Few pic's for practice, does my head in!! Hope these work! Stunning pics , beautiful country. What tarn is that ?Red Tarn mate, well worth a look...

Maggie... Maggie... i'm not knocking your little lad mate.. im sure he could show me a thing or two.. I've got a couple of young ones myself... but i know where to draw the line.. Would never let them have a free reign on here.. it's full of weirdo's!! You'll NEVER find me in the beer tent... Isnt there a 'kids' section on here? Maybe thats the way to go? could be a bit quiet though?

Was reading this site a couple of years before i figured out how to join. Back then, it was a site for real working dog 'men'... proper stuff... Think about it boys... talking about the drinking... the shagging... all goes hand in hand.... Hunting... Drinking .... Shagging nice little love triangle going on!! LOL Don't get falling out folk's... keep the kids watching CBB's keep this site for working dog men...

My kids up at 7:15... always make sure their stockings are rammed full.. gives us an extra half hour whilst they open them on our bed! LOL

Thats how it always was here up until last year, my misses, for some reason, switched the milk for wine.Carrots are out on the lawn and oats on the path (keep the birds going for a day or two). My youngest made that mince pie in the pic. Not a bad effort or a 28 year old! LOL

Kids just set me up for a load of heartburn tonight again! LOL Eldest daughter, who knows the score on the Santa front, wanted to leave a can of lager out bless her. Wouldn't look quite right on the annual pic though I thought. I Won't be touching that ammeratto shite that's for sure! Have a good one folks..

A good session in the pub must round your day's hunting off nice.Something I must get around to doing. You'd never get me singing mind, I'd be stood in the background, taking it all in...... having a good old sup!! The good old day's eh!!..... mardale hunt song: well the e and e have a joint meet with the ulls water. and its epic! truely epic haha ile find some videos of last years if you want? ive got some of this year on the phone but cant get them on! the only thing i like more than hunting is hunting songs! Bumped into the Cathera today, on Skiddaw, shame I was with the family! Just having a practice at putting pics up! Got a few better ones on the camera. Yes folks, I'd live up there given half a chance.

Too true. My missus suffers badly with depression, has done for years. Not nice for either partner. Post natal depression for my missus. Youngest is 6 years old now and she's still on the medication. Had to make some big calls... Bad bad times but you've got hang in there, be strong, be there for them... will come good in the end.

One of the nicest chaps I've ever met, when out with the blencathera was a fella called Ian. Old boy, think he was a regular with the pennine. Gave me a lift, with dogs, from where the meet was cancelled (didn't want to spook the sheep on the frozen fellside) to a mile down the road. ... He didn't know me from Adam....
