I actually got wed at that church just over 16 year back.. small world as they say! I pop in for a reminisce now and again when I'm passing on the bike but i suffer terrible flashbacks for day's after!! lol.. I remember years back an old school mate from Houghton telling me those hares on Pleasley tip were as "big as fcuking spaniels"... ??

Steve says it how it is to me... Only ever 2 sides to any story.. right or wrong... If.. when it gets released. ... I'd love to bury the c@@t....

Any mature Roe would drag a true whippet into the next county. Not knocking whippets.. just physics?

Cheers for that Greyman? I didn't mention there was 40 miles between seeing the Mink and and the spot where i took the pics. It's a shame I'm back at home now, that reserve is eighty mile away. I'll be back at some point though tooled up a tape and what not. Found this earlier... Otters are five toed, but ususlly only 4 will be showing in a print! So my money is now on an Otter? -

Interesting! I'm Kicking myself now for not putting something down to use as a scale. From what i remember, I'd say those prints were too big to be a Mink. Actually saw a Mink on the Witham previous day. Pic's were taken at nature reserve on the coast, off a small footbridge with a little dyke running underneath. I was thinking dog or Otter myself. Strickly dogs on leads at this place by the way. ? -

It does make me laugh, this lycra thing! I've the lot to be honest.. and i probably do look at twat.. but, the important thing is.. i couldn't give a fcuk to be honest!? I'd probably look a bigger knob riding the flying machine with tracky bottoms and a baggy t-shirt flapping about.. so i haven't got a choice really!! I definitely understand your point though mate. I can't really advise gear wise Jiggy. I normally go for Altura stuff. Mid priced decent gear. Wiggle and Tredz good sites and rarely beaten price wise. You're probably better of whacking it in Google mate to be honest. Go

Running isn't everyones cup of tea mate. I use it as a plan B if i can't get a ride in. It ticks a box i suppose and certainly gets me blowing. You can't 'freewheel' on a run, or sit up for a minute to take a breather! I went a little 3 mile run last, 26 minutes.. 8.40 sec a mile average which slower than normal for me but I've had a heavy week away with the lad's and then away with the family so no surprises really. Ticks a box and better than nowt thoug. It's surprising how quick you do get your fitness back if you're banging the miles in on a regular basis. If you do ever get a bike m

Get a bike or two mate? You're doing enough graft to keep the weigh off i reckon. Cycling is bang on for a cardio workout.. and your calfs and quads will explode??

Some good reading here fellas.. hats off to you. I've tried the no carb thing.. and yes, got results in no time. Only trouble was struggling sticking to it on a daily basis. Especially sitting down to a square meal each evening with the family. You just can't do it. My good lady, has had a few very productive stints on the slimming world plan. Good for me, because she cooks all the meals! Interestingly.. carbs are allowed. Some are even ' free' such as pasta and potatoes.. as long as nothing is added to them during cooking. Almost everything is cooked from scratch/ freh though. Prob

I really struggle with will power. Drink way more than i should do. I do manage to keep this just to weekends though usually so not all bad. Had a heavy couple of days/ nights on a stag do in Newcastle last weekend and stayed the week with my mrs and girls in County Durham. Loads of eating out and fair few drinks and I'm definitely felling it now! Can't wait to get back in that lycra this afternoon!,!? Fair play to you lad's that are doing a bit and not letting yourselves go?.. it's so easy not to!!

I personally wouldn't touch face book with a shitty barge pole..? -
Cheers Francie?I did that on my road bike mate. Mid range bike i suppose it is. Carbon frame. Good thing is you can swap the tyres to somthing heavier duty, beef them up if you want to ride a few tow paths or the like. There are lad's local to me that have got to the coast, turned around and rode straight home, same day! Obviously we've all got different levels of fitness. Massive buzz though and sense of achievement. I get that even after a 20 odd mile ride! I'm fully paid up for the year at a gym by the way, i can't stand plodding away on stationery bike or tredmill. Fcuk that gam

Lad's I'm the wrong side of forty.. 5'9 12st with half a foot of black podding curled up. I've got the odd creaky joint.. no lifting happening, so i took up a bit of running but mainly cycling. I like to live the good (indulgent) life, beers and the like .. but, as you get older you've got to off-set this. The Strava App is ace lads for motivation. You can download it for free. Race your mates ln segments.Track your rides, speed.. distance and calories etc. Born H. As a cyclists.. it's generally regarded as a fair achievement to cycle from my area to Skeg!? I did it

True story. Had my opp done on a Friday afternoon. Later that evening my misses, after a few glasses of wine thought it would be funny to offer me a 'bit' knowing i wouldn't be able to manage it. Well it backfired on her didn't it! She's down on all four's beckoning me over thinking she's all nice and safe laughing away.. well, i slammed her half a foot in no time and was rattling my potatoes against her dirt box for a good while after! I paid for it the next day mind!?

Like yousat TOMO.. all in jest but still doesn't make it acceptable saying what we have. I remember seeing your add on here selling pup's, i think the litter Mushroom had one out of. Guessing must be five years back or so. I didn't know at that time but it must have been your daughter on one of the photos and it struck me what beautiful kid she was. A real picture of health. Must be a very similar age to my youngest girl. You must be very proud them, ?

If you don't ask.... as they say!! Good luck fella?

On the subject of cat's.. strangely, this popped up in my YouTube feed just today. Not a great video at all. But that first fella made me piss!!!!
-
I had a run out to see them Tomo. Went to Carburton crossroads as it's only 15 minutes from here. It's a decent spot to be fair as they have to slow down for the bend. I made it into town later on, reluctantly.. but my misses wanted here nails doing. Haha. I was dreading parking up! I got a spot against the barrier after the finish line. It was sopt on seeing them rolling in right in front of you. The tour busses were all parked behind the council offices... that's where the riders headed straigt after, swigging their cans of pop! I had a walk over.. stepping through all their dirty show
