    I'd be surprised if any lurcher events were ever held on Welbeck estate... Only met Plummer the once at Bramham hunt show. He stunk like a f@@king polecat... but bizarrely he was accompanied by a nice bit of flange i do remember. Interesting stuff that Bosun and a nice animal you had there...?

    I was really into years ago as teenager. Never putting big bets on though.. my thing was watching the national hunt racing from early on in the season and getting good ante-post odds on horses that stood out that were targted for the Cheltenham festival and somtimes the national at the back end of the season. I got on a hourse called 'Master oats' early doors after seeing it destroy a decent field in some bottomless ground. I got it at 33/1 for the Gold cup wich it won as the 10/3 favourite.. and i got 25's on it for the National.. but hecame in at 6th under top weight.. 6/1 i t

    I've got my grandads Senior up in the loft mate that was handed down to me when he passed. I remember shooting it with him on his back garden as a nipper.. must be almost 40 years ago!! I'm pretty sure not long after that he gave me my first (and last) ever fag... and a glass of port lol.... no dout he was just trying to wind my mum up!!

    Earned a sup today. Lad at work got let down last minute for doing Snowden and tapped me up... i said yeah.. why not mate. Then i found out i was driving!! 338 mile round day trip from here in Notts. Up at 2:15 am!! I did all the driving, planned and led the walk. He ate half my snap.. and snored his f@@king head off all the way home!! Was a cracking day mind. Left our Doris to get me some suppages in.. not my first choice but you know.. beggers and that...?

    Spot on there mate. My first trip was to the old Wembley, aged 11 to watch Mansfield v Bristol City ('87) in the freight rover cup final. Like you say, it's the details that you remember. Travelling down in a mk 1 blue escort estate.. my filling coming out eating a chocolate eclair on the motorway... having my first can of carling sat on a grass banking... my dad's mate getting locked up before the game for nutting a copper.. ahhh.. the memories eh!!?

    Trolly full of weekend shite!! Mrs Bush Rmmager stitched me up didn't she.... said we were just nipping in for a pizza and a new toothbrush.
