  1. Can't go wrong with a blast around on RIB.. went over to Watergate.. could see back of the Board masters set-up.. Newquay harbour.. cracking spot. Loads of kids swimming in there and jumping in off the wall. Got it's own little sandy beach... nice cafe.. and resident seal that kept popping up alongside the boats..
  2. Very.. very busy in Newquay today. We were booked on a RIB ride from the harbour and as my mrs isn't a massive fan of being in the full sun for long we got settled in a pub just above the harbour for a few cold ones and a bit of lunch. The Fort inn i think it was. Cracking view.. i could have stayed all day!
  3. Interesting that Wilf cheers.. i won't argue with that.. you know the game better than me mate..?
  4. Yes mate.. I'd heard they were playing some good stuff and I made plans to wind the clock back and get to a game last season but it never happened.. weddings and other things getting in the way! Was a regular home and away for a good few years. Had some good away trips with the lad's... proper quality those days were. Then got married and that f**ked it all up!! lol...
  5. I bet they'd thrash the Stags!! lol... Yes.. i know men are stronger and faster that's why i mentioned skill, fitness being able to play. Ah.. i doesn't matter i suppose.. i was just curious!! I watched the semi and the final.. and fair enjoyed it to be honest. Two things i did notice.. no rolling about on the floor faking/ exagerating injuries.. and also every corner was bang on the money! No hitting the first man stood on near post at knee height!! lol.. Fair play to them!!
  6. Made me laugh that.. someone mentioned earlier about people saying some of womens national team could play in the Prem!! lol... what a LOB!! You can't really compare them to the mens game.. men are men, and women are women, or thats how it used to be!! ... but I've often wonderd at what level would the national womans team be equivalent too in mens leagues?? Would it be an equal game with a league 2 side?? Honestly.. i've no idea. So in terms of fitness, skill and actually being able to play the game.. what level do people think they're equivalent too??
  7. Bet he'll have a great time there mate! I've just looked at the line-up and it's a bigger event than i realised! Not exact my taste generally but i wouldn't mind seeing Idles on Friday.. i don't mind a bit of theit stuff to be honest! Bet Kings of Leon put a decent show on too. Get yourself down there.. you never know, you might have a few grand kids on the ground in 9 months time!!?? Funnily enough we're in Newquay for a RIB ride tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to that.
  8. Beach day today.. well half of one.. Mrs Bush Rummager can only handle 4 hrs max on a beach. Moaning about it being hot and sand sticking to her etc. I think there must be some Eskimo not too far back in her lineage!! Just another nice little bay..
  9. Been looking at these for a while. Look decent for around £140 sheets. Wild camping and the odd camp site stay. The pitch as one.. inner and outer together.. is a good thing to me.. unless I'm over thinking things!?
  10. You're one of the good uns on here mate... hope it all works out well for you pal...?
  11. Where abouts are you stopping roughly Aled??
  12. Cheers fellas..? That butchers was closed today Borr.. I'll keep an eye open for it during the week mate. I think we're having a ride out tomorrow and our Doris wants to call at Mevagissey so we'll be checking their offerings out. Had some good ones there over the years. Probably one of the best I've had was from a butchers in Salcombe!! showing the Cornish how to do it! Talking pasties eh on a Sunday night... what we like!! lol..
  13. I see what you mean mate. It was wasn't too dry to be honest but it was the pastry that let it down. I prefer pastry when it looks a bit pale and is still a tad doughy deep into the crust. Non of that flaky bollocks for me. I would have still eaten that pasty if it had been burnt to f**k and dropped in dog shit mind... i was starving.
  14. First day in Cornwall so would have been rude not to. 6.5/ 10. Inhaled it in no time to be honest!?
  15. Similar thing last year. TOMO put me ont some great places...
  16. Give it a good go mate.. you just need to be strong upstairs!! I like my food and drink as much as anyone but i can't get away with it like i did in my twenties!! I've have results with fasting in the past. Eat in a 8 hr window only. Mine started from my second break at work.. 1:00 in the afternoon until say 8:30/9:00 pm.. i can't get out of the habit of having something at that time.. handful of nuts or bit of cake.. lol. Eat what you like within reason during those 8 hrs. Just drink black coffee/ tea in the morning when you get up... and on your first snap break skip the foo
  17. ? I'll be checking Wadebridge out then mate.. see if can hunt a decent pasty out! I know the spot at Slapton Arry, been a few times and we stayed at the camping and caravan site at the back there a few years ago but I'm bit further down the road at the mo in Dorset until Saturday then we move on down to Cornwall for a week. I would have popped down to see you otherwise matey.. would have been nice that..?
  18. Is that Barnecutts in Portreath Arry?? I'm down that way next week. I'm a sucker for a proper old school pastie. Like D said.. best seem to be from your little independent butchers/ bakers. The mass produced ones are just crap. One here from Dartmouth.. i can't actually remember the shop though! lol. Scoffrd it on the beach a Beesands.. ?
  19. Ahh that's spot on mate thanks... really appreciated.? Supposedly got someone calling in tomorrow for a look.. I'll be prepared with notes at the ready!! lol...
  20. Will you be putting the resin down Stav?? I'm looking to get a patio done.. only 15 sq mtrs. Gave the job to fella back end of last summer but he never turned up. Chased him after winter had passed and he's ignoring my txts and calls.. so obviously he doesn't want to do it. Just talking to a few different folk now and getting prices. Concrete base is already down and that's surrounded by paving bricks set about 18/ 20 higher. Any tips on what to look out for please mate? Things to do or not to do. I don't want bodgeit and scarper making a pigs ear of it!!
  21. I was 100% expecting somthing like this!!
  22. Oh.. just an odd bottle i had left over mate. The stellar cider was a gift off the gaffer at work, full box, .. I'd never had it before. It's probably not that bad to be honest.. I'd score it 6.5 out of 10!!
  23. Westons is for misters... Stella cider is for gaylords.. thats my scientific reasoning anyway. One is high octane spaceship fuel that will transport you to another galaxy... the other is piss watter!!
