    My Mrs actually goes to all these gigs mate. She is my driver...she likes to stand back and take the spectacle in. She has seen heavier bands that what most regular folk even know exist. She has a nice high up job for a government authority.. I'm only in the Midlands matey.. ?

    Yes mate.. I watched that episode just a few day's ago. Good point you make to be fair. It's quite a dence population there from what they were saying.. not that that's anything to do with how vocal they are. Took that Lama thing well towards the end I thought mind.. I was also surprised at how close the film crew could get to the cat's too... they didn't seem too f**ked at all by the crews presence. Probably an easy target for filming over the years now due to the high number of cat's in that small area and they just accept these small groups of bipedal fukwhits poking their noses in!!

    Absolute bargin mate the Atmos 65 for £150 like you say!! I'm guilty of over thinking things sometimes though. I've had my old Berghaus day pack out today to get my jet boil out of there.. I looked at that rucksack and it's been spot on and is still 100% sound and it's had a fair bit of use. I brought it in Keswick about 15 years ago.. pulled it off the rack.. quick look inside it.. "yep.. that'll do"...? Wish I was like that now. Cheers for your help and advice mate.. I really appreciate that.. I will get there eventually!!??

    They also had an 'Atmos' in.. I'm trying to not get carried away spending to much on this camping venture.. but I'm sure you know how it is when you see something nice! I slipped it on.. and it fit me like a condom?? Rolls Royce comfy.. definitely a step up from the Rook. Plus i has 2 nice zipped pockets on the back... I wouldn"t mind a look at the Exos 58.. think there's recently been an updated version of it. Could be the in-between option to go for?! I'm useless at making decisions these day's I tell you!!???

    Yes.. Osprey.. just not sure which one yet! I'm sold on that Airspeed back ventilation system though and I've literally just got back in from a little trip out to Go Outdoors at Chesterfield having a look the options.. The 'Rook' seems to fit the bill.. nice big empty space to fill with shite!? Just a shame it doesn't have a zipped pocket on the back to keep waterproofs handy and out of the main compartment. Plus I don't want that colour!! Lol.. It did feel really comfy when I tried it on mind!!

    Sounds ideal mate! I'm very envious.. I'm dosed up with man flu here.. missed first few day's back at work and hardly been out of the house!? Cabin fever kicking in now.. i can't wait to get out there.. you can only read so many backpack reviews before you start to crack up!!??

    That's the way to do it mate!! Wouldn't believe it.. but we've had fajitas just now. I was going to the pic thing but the Mrs and teenage daughters take the piss if catch me doing it so I tend not to bother unless I go stealth mode and get a sneaky one!!?

    Can't fault you mate!! 2.5 hr for me from here.. so doable in a day. Been out with the fell packs there and back in a day.. bloody long day mind! My sister lives in Penrith and knows the area pretty well and also what goes on over there. She says there's a little camp site at Dufton and that the village pubs sometimes has bands on so I'm thinking about combining the two and getting plastered after the High cup Nick walk and waking up hanging in my tent that I haven't brought yet!!? She's been up Scotland this last week.. done Ben Mcdui and Cairngorm and god knows what else!
