I probably should have said you spend more time on here than me.. meaning you have read post's from both GM and FD that I haven't!
-
That's fair enough mate.. I'm sure you see things in more detail on here than me. I'd like to think if they ever did meet up they'd be laughing and joking in no time! I hope they're both back on here soon anyway.. and don't tell FD this, but I think he's quite funny to be fair him!

He'll never meet anyone mate because he was born with a vagina. That's why he gives shit out on here.. because he can't do it in the real world. Same reason he's been kicked off other forums. He won't and can't change. I'd bet he's probably alright if you'd meet him in the flesh. How he talks to GM is way out of order in my opinion.. FD, always on the wind up and looking to put another man down for no apparent reason. I like GM.. I think he's a sound genuine bloke and I'd like to meet him and buy him a few ciders one day. A place like this needs characters.. get GM back on.. lol.. ??

It is Huw Edwards! Just seen him in Bournemouth Spoons shitters off his tits. Offered me his ass!!

I didn't think it was a bad place to be honest. Had a couple of nights in Premier Inn there near the Deep, just other side of the river. Spotted otter tracks on the muddy back as we went over the foot bridge into the old town there. Went to a panto, the Deep and a few free museums that were decent too. Street life museum I think one was called. It kept the kids entertained anyway. Not bad around the marina too. Only time I've been other than that was to the old footy ground, Boothferry Park, with the super stags on a cold dark Tuesday night. We did well to get out of there alive I tell you!! L

Yes TOMO.. I watched G&R from the Saturday night. I recorded it and actually watched it in the week. Yes, it's a shame his voice isn't what it was 30 year ago but that's what happens with most vocalist.. change over time and not for the best. Dickinson out of Iron Maiden is the same. He can't hit and hold the notes like he used to but you have to adapt and change things to suit your range. In Axles defence.. apparently the mixing desk f@@ked up early on at the Glastonbury gig but got it sorted towards end. I seen GnR at main road Man Citys old ground back in '92!! That's quite nice stuff mate. But I was surprised.. I think we were in the Aldi at Ilfracombe and I picked a few up.. it's dearer there than here up in the east mids! I assumed everything was a set price throughout the UK. Obviously not!!

I think it's a decision not to rush into. My old man was in a similar situation 10 months ago after losing my mum and being in a empty house after also not having had a dog for a good few years. He was looking at winding the clock back and getting an Italian Spinone.. we had one 40 year ago. I said think it through.. the impracticalities of big dog.. getting shifted up.. slavering everywhere and shitting massive logs for you to pick up lol!! Well he hung off.. and picked up a nice little Patterdale pup just a few days back. I told him he'll be calling it a Twatterdale in no time. Should keep

Yes.. I like the look of them mate. Looks like there's a good few of those types knocking about now. Not 100% sure but I reckon they're all based around the original Trangia stove? Trangia Spirit burner for storm cookers Amazon.co.uk AMZN.EU Like you say.. not a deal can go wrong unless you drench yourself in fuel and light a fag up!!?? -

Talking of nice camp food.. check this out! My sister sent them to me.. a woman she followes on F.book cooks some top notch snap when she's out. I guess the location right. Little Langdale in the Lakes. I've stood almost in the very spot looking over to Pike o'stickle over in the opposite side of the valley when I was out with the E&E foot pack. Those chips look bloody good though eh!! -

Totally with you there mate! I've had, and got a few of those summit meals kicking about. I think I'll take them on the 2 nighter upto the Lakes purely to save weight and then filter the water for them whilst I'm up there. But yes.. give me a nice burger anytime cooked in the egg pan knicked out of the kitchen cupboard ffs!! Lol.. I'll be looking into those stoves and fuel. Was looking at them on Amazon at the weekend. I can feel a pissed up purchases coming on soon!! Lol.. -

Bloody ace that mate! That's a fair old weight saving and it looks like you've got loads of fuel there for the xboil. What's your fuel type preference mate? I know there's a few different options out there. Definitely a cracking bit of kit that is and like you say.. if it takes a little longer to boil some watter so what!! -

Absolutely mate! I was actually looking at them over the weekend.. partly just out of interest but I can definitely see me going down the weight saving route in the near future. Like you say.. very cheap too! Be interesting to see the pics and weight of your stove mate thanks and also let us know what what you think to your new tent.. sounds the business that does! I wish I'd weighed my pack on my first few camps I really do. Got to start somewhere abd learn as you go along I suppose. I'm on family holls soon for 2 weeks but penciled a Kinder camp in for the end of July and the hopefully a 2 n -

Absolutely mate! You can buy bigger cannisters that are cheaper in comparison to the small packable one and use them to top up and refill the small one's to take on a camp. All hepls I suppose!!? -

Just used this gas can refill adapter for the first time. Tenner off Amazon. Some cheaper and some more expensive.. so I went down the middle! Lol. Refill a canister from part used one's. I always like taking a full one with me.. peace of mind you know you're not going to run out and saves not having several canisters kicking about with bit's of gas in that are never going to get used. The advice is to chill the canister you are filling up for 20 minutes in the fridge and warm up the donor can. I left in outside in the sun for a bit. Screw them together with the donor can on t -
I remember being a 19 year old apprentice sat on the rad drill dreaming about owning a 3/4 beddy grey. 26 inch. Smooth coat. Have a go at most things. It never happened!!

When I read Gnashers posts on here.. I always do it in Frank Butchers voice for some reason!! I wonder if he's knocking one into Pat theses days!! Go on my son...
