    I'm not sure it's the exact same location mate but there is a plaque in a layby on the A9 saying the same thing about the last wolf being shot there. I pulled in there for a coffee out of the flask on the way up to Plummer land 25/26 years ago! I've got an old pic of it somewhere. I looked it up and found it on Google earth for a mate that moved to Dornoch a few years back. I think it's just below Bora if I remember correctly. The lay-by is on the left as you go North. Nice pic by the way!

    Yes.. that's it. I remember going down in a lift to get to the tunnel. Was noisy as you'd expect when you're in there. We did the copter ride too. I've probably got some old photos buried away somewhere. Hope you enjoy your trip mate.. don't forget pics!!

    Brought some nice memories back that has thanks! We had 3 nights in Toronto and a couple at Niagara. What's the tunnel you refer to mate? Is it the one under and behind the falls?? I remembers bits of it.. was along time ago now!! Still got this in the kitchen window!

    Nice to see the CN tower Mac! Me and my Mrs where up there 20 year's ago this month as a little treat for our first wedding anniversary!! Pretty sure I had Bison steak up in the revolving restaurant. I didn't know until I asked for the bill.. but my old man knew of our plans and he phone through prio on the quiet and left his card details to pick the bill up for us bless him! Lucky if get to Cleethorpes these days!!

    I'd never go back to Tunisia. Absolute shit hole and I didn't think anything to the locals/ workers in the resort either.. arrogant tossers probably best describes them. F@@k all out there either.. during the transfer it was just miles of dusty barren land with the odd pen here and there full of dehydrated goats. Weather was nice mind. Probably better of taking a picnic up Ilkley Moor or something!

    It ticks alot of box's for most folk mate. I know a few that but the bullet and went after Sharm reopened post trouble and they bagged some mega bargins. Was brave of them to be the first to go back though. Must have been the chap price that they couldn't resist!!

    Yes mate. I can't quite remember exactly what year it was. It was a year or two before the trouble that they had there though.. I do remember that! In fact.. I've just found an old image on my phone with some exif information on.. and the year is 2014! I still use that Samsung tablet most days by the way!!

    You can't beat getting some sun on your back during a long shitty winter! I reckon you'll be fine in the Canarys. Never been to Tenerife but have been to the others. Don't forget Lanzarote is very windy!! Have you looked at Egypt mate? We went in January a few years back. Was minus- 2° at Doncaster Airport when we left at 27° when we landed 5 hours later!

    I love looking around shops like that mate! Any ideas what tent you'll be using for the hike you've planned for next year? Guess it's still a way off but doesn't hurt to start sifting through options early on and narrow things down a bit!
